Former Bollywood actress-turned-writer, Twinkle Khanna is born to superstars, the late Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. Initially, Twinkle walked in her parents' footsteps and made her acting debut in 1995 with the film, Barsaat. Later, she left acting and began writing. Today, she is known as Mrs Funnybones for her witty skills. Alongside it, she also hosts a talk show on her YouTube channel, Tweak India and interviews eminent personalities in the industry. Recently, during one of her chat shows, she also revealed her first job as a fisherman and how people used to react to it.
As the latest episode of her talk show, The Icons was released on her YT channel, Twinkle Khanna can be seen indulging in a conversation with Bollywood actor, Johnny Lever. During the conversation, she revealed her first job, much before joining the acting industry, was to deliver fish and prawns. Elaborating on how she became part of the workforce, the former actress also opened up about people's reactions to it. Twinkle shared:
“My first job was to deliver fish and prawns. My grandmother’s sister had a fish company. That was my first job. When I used to tell someone, they would say, ‘Tu machhiwali hai?”

In several interviews, Twinkle has revealed how she accidentally landed in the acting industry. For instance, during Twinkle's chat with Kareena Kapoor Khan for her Tweak India platform, the actress-turned-author had opened up about her decision to enter films. Twinkle shared that she joined acting to support her single mother as it was the quickest way of earning money.
Twinkle shares a beautiful bond with her mother, Dimple Kapadia, who had single-handedly parented her and her sister, Rinke Khanna. Glimpses of the same are often found on Twinkle's profile. For instance, on February 11, 2022, Twinkle had taken to her Instagram handle and shared a monochrome picture of her and Rinke sitting on their mother's lap. In the throwback picture, Dimple looked drop-dead gorgeous, and the sister duo was seen cutely posing for the lens. She also posted a picture of Rodin's Thinker and compared her pose with his.

Talking about her personal life, Twinkle tied the knot with Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar in 2001, and they are parents to two lovely kids, Aarav and Nitara. Twinkle keeps on sharing cutesy anecdotes about her marital life. Once, on January 15, 2023, Twinkle had taken to her IG handle and shared a beautiful video featuring her hubby and their daughter as they went for a ride in one of the lakes of London. In the video, Nitara was seen gazing at the peaceful nature, while her daddy paddled the boat. However, sharing the video, Twinkle took a hilarious note on her marriage and called it a Faraday cage. She mentioned how on a freezing Sunday morning, someone decided that they must pedal along an icy lake.
