Summer holidays always meant travelling to our grandparents' house and spend some quality time with them and get showered with some pampering and their love. The moments spent with our grandparents and lessons learnt from them is something that everyone remembers forever. Daughter of veteran actors, late Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle Khanna shared a warm bond with her nani, Betty Kapadia. On Eid 2020, Twinkle had revealed what she associates the festival with and in remembrance of her late maternal grandmother, had written, "We rarely made biryani on Eid. Our treat was always Nani’s delicious Kichda and decorated envelopes with our Eidi. This year, our hearts and our table have too many empty spaces without her to fill it all up. #eidmubarak."

Twinkle Khanna tried her hands in embroidery after 20 years by recalling what she was taught in her childhood by her nani, Betty Kapadia. Engrossed in creating a sketch of the Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo with a pencil and then did backstitch embroidery to define the outline, Twinkle posted a video of the same on her social media handles. Sharing her artwork, Twinkle wrote, "While growing up in my Grandmother’s house, we all learnt to paint, sew and knit. After twenty years I am trying my hand at embroidery again, struggling but trying. I can still hear my Nani’s voice echoing in my head, ‘Tina, don’t do untidy work.’" Twinkle has also tweeted, "It’s also calming. The moving hands, working towards a small accomplishment instead of focusing on all the big things that can’t be tackled right now."

When Twinkle Khanna's friend, Sabishi Shankar commented, "Your nani would be so happy to see u do this! Loved her passion for craft, her crochet bags are too funky!!!" she has replied, "@sabishishankar I was thinking about you this evening. I got her things over today and now I have at least 100 balls of wool and over 30 crochet needles. When things get better come and take a whole load." (Also Read: Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister, Shweta Narrates 'Bhai Ki Kahani, Behen Ki Zabaani' With Unseen Photos)

Not only Twinkle Khanna, but her kids, Aarav and Nitara too, have been exploring their creative sides during the lockdown. While her little one, Nitara is enjoying the world of books and has become an avid reader, Aarav had donned the chef's hat for his parents. The proud mom, Twinkle had described her 17-year-old boy’s baking skills in the most hilarious way and had captioned the picture as "When I had a bun in the oven, I did not know I was going to push out a future baker. I produced him and seventeen years later he produced this chocolate brownie cake with cherry compote. #ProudMomMoment." When the Indian food columnist of BBC, Maunika Gowardhan had commented on the post, “In the genes” Twinkle had replied, “@cookinacurry not from my side clearly.”

The 'Bhatia Boy' had caught his mom dozed off on the couch during her book reading-studying time with the little one, Nitara. Twinkle had captioned the post as "My son crept up and took this picture today. The little one and I were meant to be studying and reading together when I have fallen asleep with a pencil in my hand! Is it just me going through this peculiar phase where every day around 4 pm the brain just fogs up?" (Also Read: Telugu Star Nithiin Reddy Ties The Knot With Fiancee Shalini Kandukuri, Inside Pictures From Wedding)
