Former actress and author, Twinkle Khanna is slowly and steadily picking up the steps to become one of India's best writers. After working in films for so many years, Twinkle had decided to leave the film industry a long time ago and went on to follow her passion for writing. Fast forward to now, Twinkle has already penned three books, Pyjamas are Forgiving (2018), Mrs Funnybones (2015), and The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad (2016). Apart from penning books, Twinkle often shares her thoughts on everything that is happening in the world, and people love listening to her hilarious and creative take on complex matters.
However, her recent column in The Times Of India, in which she had talked about the film, The Kashmir Files' success, has landed the author in huge controversy. Twinkle's remarks on the film are getting trolled and questioned. However, untouched by the backlash, Twinkle shared a picture of herself reading a book in the garden area as she talked about her family's reaction to her reading habit in the caption, and it can be read as:
"Among other misdemeanours, like dropping soya chip crumbs on the pages and highlighting and writing comments on the margins, I also read aloud, a few pages a day, much to my family's despair though it does seem to amuse our dog."

Twinkle Khanna recently interviewed the legendary author, Ruskin Bond, on her YouTube channel, Tweak India. In the interview, Ruskin Bond shared a series of stories about his childhood days, and it was a visual treat for all the fans and followers of his books that they've read in their childhood. During the interview, Twinkle told Ruskin that he had influenced her daughter, Nitara Kumar, in a 'terrible way' after his first meeting with the young girl. Revealing the reason behind this hilarious accusation, Twinkle narrated the conversation she had with Nitara after the latter's first meeting with Ruskin, and it was too hilarious to be missed. The doting mother said:
"No, you are still wicked, because yesterday my daughter met you. And she has written an essay about the meeting. She said, 'I met Ruskin Bond, he has a three-legged cat and he told us stories about when he was a little boy. And he said in his exam paper he wrote 'exams are rubbish.' So, you've influenced her in a terrible way even now."
Twinkle Khanna shared a priceless picture with her daughter, Nitara Kumar, a few days ago. The author had taken to her IG handle and blessed the Insta-feeds of her million followers in a split second. As in the memorable picture with her baby girl, Nitara, the mommy-daughter could be seen sharing a kiss. Along with this cutesy picture, Twinkle had also penned an adorable note in the caption about motherhood that could be read as:
"A mother needs to keep an eye on her child's mind as much as she does on her homework. She must follow the tendrils of her thoughts, and each time she sees something askew, she has to nudge it back in place and she needs to do this every single day."

Going further in the note, Twinkle Khanna had stated that maybe she's isn't a perfect mother, and she holds that guilt like many mothers out there. However, there's no doubt that she's does everything in her power and capabilities to make her children happy. Twinkle had also added that every mother tries to be a good mother, and it's something worth respecting. Her note further could be read as:
"I may be far from perfect and I live with that guilt like most other members that belong to this tribe, but if I can do this much, then that's good enough and perhaps good enough is as marvelous as we all need to be."
