In the clip, we can spot Rinky and Pinky trying to exchange varmaalas with Atul at the same time. On the other hand, Atul was sitting on the shoulders of his friends while the whole family was cheering for them. As Rinky and Pinky could not put garland simultaneously, they put the jaimala one by one. Hence, the trio got married following the Hindu rituals.
However, as soon as the video went viral on the internet, a case was registered against the groom, Atul under section 494 of IPC. The law doesn't allow a person to marry again during the lifetime of their husband and wife.
According to a report in the Press Trust of India, not only Rinky and Pinky, but their families also agreed to the bizarre wedding. The report further suggested that after the death of the twin sister’s father, Atul helped their family. And Atul was in a live-in relationship with Rinky and Pinky for a long time.
What are your thoughts on their wedding?
