Popular actress, Tunisha Sharma left for the heavenly abode after she committed suicide on December 24, 2022. As per reports, she hanged herself on the sets of her show, Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul, and was found dead in the makeup room of the show's lead actor and her rumoured boyfriend, Sheezan Khan. However, her mother mentioned that her 20-year-old daughter, Tunisha hadn't committed suicide and filed a complaint against Sheezan.
According to a report in the ETimes, Tunisha's mother filed a complaint against her rumoured boyfriend, Sheezan for alleged abutment to her suicide. As per the Waliv police, Tunisha's mother has mentioned that her daughter was suffering in her relationship with Sheezan and this could have become one of the key reasons for her to take such a dangerous step and end her life. In a conversation with the media, DCP Chandrakant Jadhav talked about the same and mentioned:
"Tunisha Sharma, who was working on the sets of Alibaba Dastaan E Kabul has died by suicide. She hanged herself. Her mother has filed a complaint against Sheezan (Khan) for abetment to suicide against Sheezan Mohd who worked with her in the show as Alibaba. There were no reports . There is no report on this (that she was pregnant). We are investigating this."

After Tunisha's mother filed the complaint, Sheezan Khan was identified as an accused and a case under Section 306 of the IPC has been registered in his name. Moreover, he was arrested based on the alleged abetment to suicide. According to an update by the ANI, now the police have been investing Tunisha's case both from the angle of suicide and murder. Her mobile phone has already been taken into custody. However, no suicide note was found at the suicide spot. The ANI's report read as:
"Police will investigate it (Tunisha Sharma death case) from the angle of both murder and suicide. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot. Police are questioning everyone who was present on the set during that time: Waliv Police."
When the heart-breaking incident occurred, Tunisha was immediately rushed to the hospital, but she was declared dead. Afterwards, the Waliv police mentioned that she was found hanging in one of the makeup rooms of her show, Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul. Allegedly, it was her rumoured boyfriend, Sheezan Khan's makeup room. Elaborating on the incident, a senior police official had reported:
"Tunisha hung herself to a fan in one of the makeup rooms. She was rushed to the hospital immediately where she was declared 'brought dead'. Currently, her family is at the hospital. There is a Ramdev Studio in Naigaon where the shoot was on. Then there was a break between the shots when this actress went to the bathroom and then she hung herself there. People on the sets rushed her to the hospital where she was declared 'brought dead'. It is primary information. Our team is on the spot and they are investigating. We will take everyone's statement."

Soon after the news came out that Tunisha was no more, her close friend and co-star, Vineet Raina took to his Instagram handle and shared heart-wrenching posts remembering the last moments with her. He shared the last clicked picture of her and penned down his heart-wrenching emotions for his friend. Not only that, he also shared screenshots of the duo's last conversation and how much the actress was excited about her birthday. In addition, Vineet dedicated his entire IG handle to Tunisha, keeping her picture on his handle's display picture and also wrote a line in the bio. Check out:
For the unversed, Tunisha, who had made her acting debut with the TV serial Bharat Ka Veer Putra –Maharana Pratap, was currently working in the lead role of 'Shehzaadi Mariyam' in her show, Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul. She was also part of many other TV shows, including Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Gabbar Poonchwala, Internet Wala Love and Ishq Subhan Allah, among others. Not just this, Tunisha was seen doing minor roles in Bollywood films like Fitoor, Baar Baar Dekho, Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh and many more.
