Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleToy Story is a much-loved animated series based on toys and children. The film series shows a world where toys come to life and behave just like humans. The first three parts of the film revolve around 'Andy Davis' and his toys. The fans of the film franchise were left heartbroken by Toy Story 3, as it shows that 'Andy' has grown up and is going to college, leaving behind his toys. Continue reading to know what will happen in the possible sequel, Toy Story 6.
In Toy Story 5, the toys, including 'Jessie' face an existential crisis when their kid, 'Bonnie', gets a new digital device, 'Lily Pad'. This new tablet takes over 'Bonnie's' free time. As time passed, 'Bonnie' got bullied by her friends on 'Lily Pad' for playing with toys, being an eight-year-old girl. This leads 'Bonnie' to decide that she needs to part with her toys. However, this abandonment caused a deeply emotional crisis for 'Jessie', who had a traumatic experience. For those unaware, 'Jessie' was abandoned by her childhood owner, 'Emily'.

Due to 'Lily Pad', 'Jessie' and 'Bullseye' get separated from 'Bonnie'. Later, they picked up an elderly couple. The pair checks 'Jessie's' boot, which reveals the location of her first owner, 'Emily', and drops 'Jessie' and 'Bullseye' at 'Jessie's' first home, where 'Emily' used to live. There, 'Jessie' meets the young and imaginative 'Blaze', whom the former believes would be the perfect friend for 'Bonnie'. Initially, 'Lila Pad' manipulation fails 'Jessie's' plan to build friendship between 'Blaze' and 'Bonnie', but later, the tablet helps the toys to do the following.

It is worth mentioning that Pixar has not confirmed Toy Story 6. However, the co-writer of the first four Toy Story films and the director of Toy Story 5, Andrew Stanton, expressed his desire to go ahead with Toy Story 6. It will reportedly be the final instalment of the Toy Story saga. In an interview with ScreenTime, Andrew shared that just like 'Andy' had a trilogy, 'Bonnie' can have the same. For the uninitiated, 'Bonnie' made her debut in Toy Story 4. Hinting at an emotional ending of Toy Story 6, Andrew said:
"I want it to be honest and follow the lives of the kids. Andy had a perfect trilogy, hopefully Bonnie can have the same."

There have been certain factors due to which fans are convinced that Toy Story 6 is likely to happen. Firstly, Toy Story 5 has an open ending. Secondly, the movie is a major box-office success, which makes another sequel more likely. And lastly, Toy Story 5 director, Andrew Stanton’s hint about Toy Story 6. A fan wrote on Reddit, "Andrew Stanton said he wants a TS6 to be the end of Bonnie's story. Essentially, TS6 will be for Bonnie what TS3 was for Andy. In order to avoid rehashing the past, I thought a TS6 could be the opposite of TS3. The idea being: "What happens when a kid grows up, but doesn’t outgrow his toys?" Another fan commented, "That sounds like a good idea, btw. Something that has never been done before, but it would be painful to watch a teenage or early adult Bonnie getting ostracised. 5 is already painful enough." A third fan penned, "Love this and how it's almost a role reversal of their dynamic with Andy in 3."
