Top Six Tricks To Get Your Best Photo Clicked

Weddings mean dressing up, merrymaking and yummy food. But, the most vital part is wedding photography, which captures all these special moments. The wedding pictures just have to be perfect, as these are the memories that will be held on to for life. Getting some fantastic pictures is something that the bride and the groom are desperately looking forward to.

But, when you are busy with the rituals and ceremonies, you can hardly do much. For your pre- and post-wedding shoots or all other pictures, you definitely want all shots to be perfect. Did you know that you are as much responsible for a great picture as your photographer? We have for you the top tricks that will get you the best clicks you could have ever imagined!

#1. Break the routine expressions

Try different expressions or poses than your usual ones. Do not stick to the routine, like hands on your waist, head tilted to one side, etc. You can try some funny poses, having some fun moments with your partner, or simply jumping in joy! After all, these are the moments that will be remembered forever. You can even try to copy some of your favourite celebrity poses. This would be a lot of fun to look at later.

#2. Avoid the flash

To get the best photographs in a day wedding, go for natural light as much as possible. Avoid using the flash. Make sure you choose a location where there is abundance of natural light. For example, if it is a farm house, then it would be just perfect; else you can simply go to the terrace or the garden of the wedding hall. For a wedding in the evening or night, make sure that the pictures are clicked with perfect and enough lights in the background at the venue.

#3. Be extra careful while choosing your outfit

This is more applicable for your pre- or post-wedding shoot. Do not pick the first flashy dress that you spot, just because the occasion is special. Make sure it goes well with the ambience of the venue. Choose clothes that not only suit your skin tone, but also flatter your figure and make you look exclusive.

Yes, we know you are the bride, but that does not mean you should wear layers of makeup just to stand out in the pictures! Wearing layers of makeup will make your skin look oily. Also, it gives quite a “grown up” look to most girls. So, just keep it simple and natural, with minimal colours.

Try this wonder trick- just a couple of seconds before the click, keep your head bowed low and then raise slowly and smile. This relaxes your face and takes away the “fake pose” look. Just be sure to stay calm and composed when you do this.

#6. Avoid trying to be an expert

This is no time for selfies, nor is it the time to give your expert advice to the photographer! Do not experiment with your photography skills. Your wedding photographer is a professional and will certainly give you some, if not all, amazing clicks. You can have your selfie moments too, but just for fun, not for the official wedding photos.
