Tom Brady Slapped Logan Paul Amid Their Public Feud, Ex NFL QB Reacts, Here's The Possible Reason

Tom Brady and Logan Paul have been involved in a feud, which seems to have escalated now. It all began earlier this year, around February-March 2026, when Tom and Logan's public feud sparked during an exchange at the Fanatics red carpet. While this went back and forth for a few months, the feud now seems to have escalated at the Fanatics Fest in New York recently.

A video has gone viral where Tom Brady was seen coming forward and delivering an open-handed slap to Logan Paul. The situation turned heated, and NBA player Karl-Anthony Towns had to intervene and stop them. The clip is now dominating social media platforms, raising questions about what could have possibly gone wrong between Logan Paul and Tom Brady at the recent Fanatics Fest. 

The reason for Tom Brady slapping Logan Paul during the Fanatics Fest in New York

The video from the Fanatics Fest didn't capture the confrontation between Logan Paul and Tom Brady; however, it only featured the moment when the latter slapped the former. While questions were raised about whether this incident was scripted, which is common for Logan Paul, given his WWE background, he broke his silence and revealed what exactly happened.

Taking to X, Logan Paul referred to the incident and revealed that the confrontation took place when he jokingly mocked Tom Brady about defeating him in a game of flag football. Tom Brady didn't stop right there and commented, 'Dork', referring to the recent incident. Logan Paul, in his post, wrote:

"This happened bc I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football. And he tries to smack me ?? Horrible example for the kids… Aura -100…. + Blocked. With a torn tricep."

After the incident, when Towns stopped the duo, Paul was heard saying, 'Get your boy, get your boy, bro, get your boy. Yeah, take him that way bro.' Commenting on Logan Paul's post about the incident, Tom Brady wrote:

"I tried America… will try again next time I see this nerd."

To mention, it was on July 16, 2026, when Tom Brady, while speaking with WWE's Cody Rhodes on the What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast, revealed that he wanted to be in WWE. He said that he has left some of the athletic qualities, even though he has retired from football. He, in the same podcast, shared that he wanted WWE president Nick Khan to come up with a storyline for him, while adding that he thought he could last at least one game and fight it out in the ring.

While Tom expressed his wish to be in the ring, the question now is whether the recent incident involving Logan Paul was scripted or not. Till now, neither party has clarified anything about the possibility of any WWE match between them. To quote Tom Brady about his wish to be in WWE:

"I feel like I’m retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I’m a little bit of an athlete."

During the red carpet of the Fanatics event earlier this year, YouTuber-turned-WWE star Logan Paul said that he had been invited to be in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic to compete. Tom Brady then responded by saying that Logan Paul is a 'good athlete,' but the competition would be on 'another level'.

He also took a jab at Logan, calling him 'cute'. This was the beginning of their feud, which went on with Paul claiming that his WWE career made him as skillful as an NFL player. To this, Brady called him out at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic for citing his high school football stats to back his claims. The two then competed on opposite teams, and Tom Brady continued to mock him.
