Three years later, they exchanged rings in April 2006 and welcomed their daughter, Ruby Sweetheart Maguire, that same year.
In 2007, Tobey and Jennifer married and welcomed their son, Otis, in 2009. While Tobey and Jennifer’s fans rooted for their bond, the couple announced their separation in 2016. After 14 years together, the couple’s reason for splitting shocked everyone. Many rumors circulated about Tobey and Jennifer’s split, as they were considered a power couple.

On a podcast, Jennifer revealed that Tobey and her fiancé, Geoffrey, got along really well and felt like a big, happy family. Speaking about their living arrangement during the fire, she said:
“The cutest part is Tobey and my fiancé, Geoff, love each other so much. When the fires started, I thought we'd be fine in Brentwood, so everyone was at my house. At the time, Tobey was in West Hollywood because he was redoing his house. I was, like, ‘I think we’re going to have to evacuate.’ And he’s, like, ‘You better get over here.’ So me, my fiancé, our two kids, Tobey, we all went into Tobey’s house, and we are all sleeping there.”
