There is no greater feeling for a woman than to wear the gorgeous lehenga of her dream and to walk under the pholoon ki chadaar to tie the knot with the right man. The journey of being a 'missus' is not an easy one, but it is definitely one of the most beautiful moment. From wedding decor to food, a bride-to-be wants every teeny-tiny detail of her wedding to be perfect. However, whenever we talk about an Indian bride, the first picture, which comes to our mind is of a gorgeous woman, decked up in a red lehenga. But over the years, we have seen many brides ditching the red lehenga and donning unique colours. From pretty pastels to aqua blue to grey and whatnot, we have seen brides donning gorgeous colours straight from the rainbow palette. Scroll down as we introduce you to our bride of the week, who had opted for a unique coloured lehenga!
Meet our bride of the week, Kriti Dhir, a makeup artist by profession. The gorgeousness has given a fantastic makeover to many brides, and for her own big day, Kriti had done her own makeup. For the wedding day, Kriti had opted for a unique blue and plum-coloured lehenga with doli and peacock embroidered on it from Marwar Couture. Her wedding ensemble had featured a plum-coloured lehenga with a 3/4th sleeve choli and double dupatta. She had accessorised the outfit with a choker neckpiece, matching earrings, a maang teeka, and a passa. Her wedding day look was completed with a dewy-sheen makeup, soft glossy lips and hair tied in a bun.
On the other hand, the groom had opted for a beige-coloured sherwani with intricate embroidery all over it. We had loved their wedding entry in a vintage car. The couple looked super cute! For the engagement day, Kriti had opted for a whimsical ensemble from designer, Amit Aggarwal's collection. She had worn a red-coloured unique lehenga gown. She had completed her look with statement earrings and a dramatic hairstyle with floral headgear. On the other hand, the groom had donned a crisp-blue tuxedo and had perfectly complemented her bride.
Kriti had given a huge inspiration to all the brides with her unique lehenga choice. However, it was her cocktail look that had left our mouths dropped in awe. The gorgeousness had chosen a black-coloured sparkly gown for her cocktail party from Gopika Couture. She had accentuated the tricky outfit with a pair of statement earrings.
For the mehendi ceremony, Kriti had chosen another unique ensemble from Papa Don't Preach By Shubhika, which was a purple and yellow-hued lehenga. Kriti had shared a twirling video on her IG handle, and we were left mesmerised by her pretty hairdo with butterfly adornments.
Well, we love Kriti's unique wedding and pre-wedding ensembles. What about you?
