A wedding is a big step in a girl's life. She becomes a wife of the man of her dreams and a daughter-in-law of somebody else's house. It's a huge responsibility, and before the bride can step into another world, she wants to look the best at her wedding. And, in India, a wedding is the most celebrated occasion of a person's life. Thus, every family wants to arrange a grand celebration for their daughter and son's wedding.
Nowadays, brides who want to look perfect opt for various colour palettes, unique patterns and styling. When it comes to bridal fashion, Sabyasachi Mukherjee is one of the names that is bookmarked by every bride. Sabyasachi Mukherjee's unique designs and colour combinations and the best craftsmanship make him stand out among the rest. Recently we came across a bride who had worn a multi-coloured Sabyasachi lehenga and had looked like a royal queen.
The bride, Kanika Kalra had opted for Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her wedding lehenga. She had worn a beautiful multi-coloured lehenga choli with a combination of yellow, red and lilac. The lehenga had gorgeous floral embroidery with golden zari and thread work all over it, along with mirrors and beads. The lehenga also had featured bird and leaf motifs on it. She had paired her lehenga with a red and golden chanderi printed choli with a plunging neckline and embroidered sleeves.
The main attraction of her whole look was the beige-coloured rajwada styled dupatta that gave a Rajasthani effect to her look. The whole dupatta had buti beads all over it with an elaborately embroidered hemline with fringes were added to it.
Kanika had gone for striking jewellery to balance her gorgeous wedding look. She had completed her lookbook with diamond and emerald stone studded choker neckpiece and a pair of huge danglers. Apart from these, she had topped it off with a pearl beaded diamond sheesh patti styled maang teeka and a nath. In addition, she had worn chooda and unique four-tier kaleeras.
For makeup, Kanika had opted for bold eyes and neutral lips. She had accentuated her look with golden shimmery smokey eyes with thick lashes and kohl-rimmed waterline, tinted and highlighted cheekbones, high-defined brows, a red bindi and nude brown lips. The then-bride-to-be had completed her look with a simple and neat bun.
Kanika's pictures show how graceful she had looked on her wedding day. We absolutely loved her outfit and get-up. What about you?
