The series, The Gentlemen, created by Guy Ritchie, has returned with a bang. Yes, you read it right. For the unversed, the second season of The Gentlemen premiered on Netflix on September 3, 2026. The Gentlemen Season 2 has already created a buzz online. Theo James and Kaya Scodelario have returned as 'Eddie Horniman' and 'Susie Glass'. In this season, 'Eddie' and 'Susie' are seen expanding their cannabis business abroad. Amid the buzz, here’s how the Netflix series ends.

What happens in The Gentlemen Season 2? (Spoilers ahead)

While the first season of The Gentlemen showed 'Eddie's' reluctance to inherit his father’s illicit business, season 2 features him embracing the role with the help of 'Susie Glass', who is leading her father, 'Bobby Glass', criminal business while he’s in prison. 'Eddie' and 'Susan' are now running a large cannabis business, and they expand it from Britain into Italy. At the same time, the duo are trying to gain political influence in the House of Lords.

'Eddie' wants a seat in the House of Lords because he believes that he can use this position to manipulate cannabis laws and also protect his business at the same time. As 'Eddie' and 'Susie' expand their business from Britain into Italy, the former meets 'Bella'. She works with Italian criminal boss 'Marco Moretti'. Eventually, 'Eddie' and 'Bella' fall in love. 'Susie' watches them closely but does not comment. Meanwhile, 'Eddie's' brother, 'Freddy', is in rehab.

During his time in rehab, 'Freddy' secretly becomes connected to 'Gospel John', a criminal who hates the 'Horniman' family. Now, if you're wondering why 'Gospel' hates 'Eddie's' family, we’ve got you covered. In The Gentlemen Season 1, the audience saw how 'Eddie' covered up his brother, 'Freddy's' crime. It was 'Freddy' who pulled the trigger and killed 'Gospel's' brother, 'Tommy'. In the Season 1 finale, 'Susie Glass' reveals to 'Gospel' that it was 'Freddy' who killed his brother.

On the other hand, 'Bobby Glass', father of 'Susie', grows suspicious of 'Eddie'. He believes 'Eddie' is growing too ambitious and is trying to take full control of the cannabis business. Eventually, 'Bobby' gets 'Eddie' beaten and buries him alive. However, he manages to escape. This makes 'Eddie' believe that he cannot trust 'Bobby' fully. As love blossomed between them, 'Eddie' and 'Bella' get married. The wedding happens on 'Marco's' ground.

Hours before their wedding ceremony, 'Eddie' kills a man named 'Tano', a stalker. He has been circling 'Bella' for the past few days and calls her a whore in a hotel room. This makes 'Eddie' angry, and he cracks 'Tano's' head on a table, and he dies. The next morning, 'Eddie' confesses the crime and marries 'Bella'. After their wedding, the newlyweds race to their honeymoon. They leave separately. While 'Bella' takes a seaplane, 'Eddie' takes a car. She flies over him, blows him a kiss, and suddenly the aircraft explodes.

The Gentlemen Season 2 ending explained (Spoiler alert)

Soon after 'Bella' tragically dies, 'Eddie' starts searching for the assassin. Initially, he thought that it might be 'Bobby'. However, he discovers that 'Bobby' is not responsible. After a chain of events, 'Eddie' gets to know that 'Freddy' and 'Gospel' are behind killing 'Bella'. 'Eddie' is furious as he learns about 'Freddy's' betrayal. He beats him and points a gun at him. But 'Eddie' does not kill his brother.

Instead, 'Eddie' puts 'Freddy' in a van with 'Gospel John', who has been captured and forces 'Freddy' to deal with 'John' himself. A chainsaw is heard inside the van. After some time, 'Freddy' comes out, and he is covered in blood and holding 'Gospel John's' severed head.
