This is the love story of India's first and the most famous celebrity blogger Malini Aggarwal, famously known as Miss Malini and her long-time boyfriend Nowshad Rizwanullah.
As colourful as this couple is, their love story is equally interesting.
Miss Malini is a former RJ of Mumbai's Radio One and head of digital content for Channel V, India. She is a vibrant girl and in 2008, she took her love for gossip to the next level by starting a blog, MissMalini that covers all the news of the entertainment industry. Nowshad Rizwanullah is an amazing guy who is an alumnus of Yale and Harvard's Business School. He is also the CEO of Missmalini.
Miss Malini, being a social butterfly, started a social network in Mumbai, Friday Club, in 2007. The idea behind this was to invite people from all walks of life and have fun. Although, this club is not particularly a singles' club, but a lot of people found their soulmates here, including Miss Malini.
"I met Nowshad at Friday Club, a social network I have been running in Mumbai for the past 7 years. Funnily enough, even though this is not a single’s club, around six couples who met at this club eventually got hitched — including my brother."
Miss Malini calls their meeting as Karma and we are glad that this happened!
After a relationship of four years, Miss Malini got a proposal that was just as dramatic and romantic as she is.
It was February 13, 2011 and Miss Malini was in Hyderabad to have a pre-Valentine's day dinner with her boyfriend, Nowshad. After a fabulous dinner, they went to Grand Hyatt to meet a friend, Eric. Nowshad played along really well and convinced Malini completely that they were really going to meet Eric and his wife, Anna.
On reaching their room, Nowshad asked Malini to open the door and as soon as they entered the room, which was supposedly Eric's, Malini was on cloud nine when she saw all the glitter, strawberries, chocolate and champagne. Just as she was walking around to have a look out of the window, she got the surprise that changed her life forever. As she turned and found Nowshad on his knees with a diamond ring in his hand.
He proposed to her saying:
"I know I’ve made you wait a long time for this, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you, will you marry me?"
Of course, she said ''yes'' and then they headed for the gala that was waiting for them with a big 'congratulations'.

The couple got hitched thrice; first, there was an official signing in Mumbai, second, the nikah in Dhaka and third, the big fat Indian wedding at a beach in Goa.
A lot of planning went into organising the beach wedding. They sent ‘Save-the-Dates’ well in advance with cute flip-flop motifs. Their invitation card carried the theme of a message in the bottle. They had really creative goodie bags for the guests at different occasions. From fun photo booths to goodie bags, everything at the wedding had a personal touch of the bride and the groom.
The mehendi was organised in a way that both the girls and boys could enjoy it. While the girls were busy with their mehendi, the guys were having fun at the beach.

In Miss Malini's words:
"I thought it would be fun to have an all-day beach carnival mehendi. That way the boys could have a good time while the girls were busy getting their mehendi done. Food, games, alcohol… it was a great afternoon! The mehendi giveaways included colourful bindis, silver anklets and a goody bag from Besos filled with a hair tie, lip balm, nail polish and nail polish remover wipes."
It was a traditional Hindu wedding and the mandap was decorated with tuberoses and pink drapery. It all looked so dreamy by the side of the beach. The groom arrived on a jeep while the bride walked down the aisle with her brother.
The bride had her wedding trousseau and all the other dresses designed by Anita Dongre. Her customised dresses had little pouches that helped her a lot.
A satisfied bride said:
"Anita Dongre was my one-stop destination for all wedding-related outfits. She even sat with me and designed a unique short lehenga for my mehendi. One of my favourite things about my wedding lehengas were the adorable little waist pouches Anita designed. Not just cute, they were super useful and came in handy to tuck away my lip gloss and cell phone at all times."
No one other than Malini herself can describe her feelings.
She expressed her joy saying:
"Nowshad is the perfect mix of snarky, smart and compassionate. He makes me laugh and holds me tight. He’s my tall, dark, handsome knight in blue jeans and a black T-shirt. I always say that I have good karma and I believe I totally earned him!"
We hope this vibrant couple has a blessed and wonderful life together. Good luck and big hug! Here is their adorable wedding video, take a look.
