The Bride Channeled Her Royal Look In A Lehenga With 'Doli' And 'Baraat' Motif-Border On Her Wedding

From an early age, girls grow up listening to 'tum toh apne ghar chali jaaogi shaadi karke', 'her ladki ko ek din shaadi karke jaana hota hai', and whatnot! While it prepares a woman to leave her parents home, there are days when it breaks her heart. But, all and all, the excitement to get married can never be explained in mere words.

Somewhere deep down, every girl waits throughout her life to walk under the phoolon ki chadar, and get married to the man of her dreams. Another secret which most of the women never really talks about is the fact that they have decided the kind of bride they will be in their head, even before finding the right groom. And looks like, our bride of the week, always wanted to be a maharani dulhaniya.

The bride wore a royal lehenga with doli and baraat border

Meet our bride of the week, Mehal Aggarwal, who had tied the knot in a grand ceremony. However, it was her wedding day look that won our hearts. The gorgeous bride had picked a stunning red lehenga, which radiated the royalty.

From head-to-toe, the bride left our jaws dropped in awe with her stunning look. Her gorgeous lehenga had a red choli with cream-coloured skirtThe highlight of her ensemble was of the doli and baraat motif border on the lehenga skirt. She had accessorised it with a heavy-choker neckpiece, a pair of matching earrings, and a matha patti.

The bride wore a unique lavender-hued lehenga for her sangeet ceremony

For the sangeet ceremony, the bride had donned an unusual lavender-hued lehenga. However, it was her jewellery, which was the highlight of her entire look. Each piece of her heritage jewellery was handcrafted by PC Jewellers.

The bride's makeup artist, Amrit Kaur had completed her look with dewy sheen makeup and glittery soft eyes. Her floral hairstyled added more elegance to her look. Another interesting highlight of the wedding was that the mother of the bride had worn an exactly similar-coloured saree as the bride.

From wedding to sangeet, we had loved the choice of ensembles the bride had donned. Her special day outfit reflects her love for her heritage.
