Bigg Boss 17 contestant, Tahelaka a.k.a. Sunny Arya got evicted from the reality show for being violent in the show. However, his wife, Deepika Arya gave him a grand welcome as he returned to his home with dhol, rath and a big party. For those who don't know, Abhishek Kumar was evicted from the show for allegedly hitting and dragging Abhishek Kumar by his collar.
After Sunny Arya's eviction from the show, Deepika Arya shared a video on her Instagram handle. In the clip, she was seen dancing on the show, 'Mere Saiyaan Superstar', while her husband, Sunny was sitting on a rath. Deepika was decked up in a chikankari lehenga with a pastel blue dupatta. She looked stunning as she danced for her husband, on dhol beats.

As soon as the video was shared by a paparazzo page, netizens flooded the comments section. One user wrote, "Wah wah Bhai isko kahte hai Amir log or show offs." Another commented, "Paisa kama ke aaya hai. Ab mai shopping karungi." One user also penned, "Isko bhej do andar ab as wild card entry, tehlka se acha kregi."
After the whole hitting controversy, Deepika came in support of her husband, Sunny. She shared a video statement and slammed the makers of the controversial reality show for eliminating her husband. She blamed Abhishek for provoking her husband, and clarified that he didn't choke his throat. She also clarified that it was Abhishek, who misbehaved with everyone in the show. Deepika said:
"Gala nahi dabaya kisi ka. Physical toh aise kuch bhi nahi hai jahan tak maine clips dekhi hai."
