Netizens believe that the cake delivery is for Taylor Swift’s wedding
The cake delivery video was posted by Julie Deffense, who deals with luxury wedding cakes. The bio of Julie’s Instagram handle says that she is an award-winning cake designer and author. The new video was shared on July 3, 2026 (ET). The clip shows a big box with a sticker outside, which reads, “Do not tilt. Must stay near 70 degrees.” Julie added a text on top of the video, which says, “This wedding cake traveled over 1200 miles.”
The short video starts with Julie coming out of a flight, and the clip then immediately shifts towards the box. While Julie did not disclose the identity of the person to whom the box was being sent, she wrote in the caption:
“A very special cake delivery for a very special couple! Can’t wait to share more soon!”
However, netizens speculated that the cake is possibly being delivered to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. One of them wrote, “Whoa!!! That’s a special cake! TS + TK?” Another person wrote, “Woohoo! I am hoping it is who I think it is!!!” A third person said, “You Are About To Get A Lot Of Orders!!! TS & TK.” Similar reactions continued with a lot of people claiming that it was Taylor Swift’s cake.
A popular chef had previously approached Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for the wedding cake
While Julie Deffense’s Instagram video has led to a lot of speculation, another video is also trending at the same time. This one is also related to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, as a Kansas City Bakery called Dolce has started selling cakes with the theme of the duo’s wedding.
Notably, Taylor and Travis were approached by the Cake Boss star, Buddy Valastro, in September 2025 for the wedding cake. The news came shortly after Taylor and Travis confirmed their engagement. Although Buddy did not speak directly to Taylor and Travis, he shared an Instagram Story. It featured a throwback photo where he and his daughter, Sofia, were standing with Taylor. Buddy added the music of Swift’s single, August, to the Story and wrote:
“You know who to call if you need a wedding cake.”
Taylor, Buddy, and his daughter appeared near a two-tier cake, which featured a glimpse of Taylor’s performance from the Speak Now World Tour in 2011. However, it remains unknown if Taylor or Travis ever responded to the Instagram Story.
Meanwhile, Taylor and Travis are reportedly supposed to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026 (ET). While the duo has not confirmed anything from their side, preparations for a big event have been ongoing at the venue.
