The pair was spotted together on several dates before they quietly ended their whirlwind romance by mid-June. Following that, both the exes have moved on and gotten engaged to different individuals: Taylor to Travis Kelce and Matty to Gabriette Bechtel.
Recently, Matty's mother, Denise Welch, confirmed her son's wedding in the same month as Taylor, sparking online chatter. Denise made the big revelation on Tom's Hirschsprung's Podcast, sharing her excitement regarding Matty and Gabriette's July 2026 marriage. She gushed that both her sons, Matty and Louis Healy, have carved out their own niches in their careers and have been working hard at it. However, she was even prouder that they had become good humans first, and then good professionals.
While talking about her sons, Denise Welch suddenly revealed Matty's wedding month but kept the exact date under wraps. The piece of information was enough to spark public theories around the exes still being hung up on each other for tying the knot around the same time. Denise's exact words about her sons were:
"Matty gets married in July, which we're very excited about. I'm very excited about that, and that's wonderful. Incredibly proud [of my two sons' careers] but I'm more proud of the men that they have become."

Taylor Swift's wedding date no longer clashes with Matty Healy's, as he hasn't announced a date yet and she is reportedly already married to the love of her life, Travis Kelce. A source close to Taylor and Travis told Page Six that the couple have tied the knot "in front of a tiny group of loved ones." Reports suggest that the ceremony took place in Tennessee; however, the reason for choosing such an unexpected venue remains unclear. The insider was quoted as saying:
"They are already married."
Taylor and Travis' official extravagant wedding ceremony will reportedly take place in the iconic Madison Square Garden. It is set to be a multi-day event, starting with an intimate gathering for 100 guests on July 2, followed by the main wedding celebration on July 3, 2026. With venue booking, food and other arrangement costs, the total expenditure is expected to be around USD 20 million. Taylor is also reportedly serving delicacies from her favourite restaurants at her wedding.
Taylor Swift's besties, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Abigail Anderson Berard are reportedly her bridesmaids for the big day, and she reportedly snubbed her old pals, Blake Lively and Karlie Kloss from the guest list due to her fallout with them. Other rumoured attendees of Taylor and Travis' big day are Ed Sheeran, Paul Mescal and his ex-girlfriend, Phoebe Bridgers and Jack Antonoff.
