City permit reveals the arrangements being made for Taylor Swift’s wedding
As per the latest reports, a city permit has recently disclosed the details of all the arrangements being made for Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding. A copy of the document revealed that the wedding will reportedly start on July 3, 2026 (ET) at 5 p.m. and will continue until the early morning hours on July 4, 2026 (ET).
Around 100 people are coming to Madison Square Garden at 6:30 p.m. (ET) for a pre-party celebration on July 2, 2026 (ET). The event is reportedly going to be an intimate rehearsal dinner. Furthermore, black vehicles have been entering a tented area, blocking the view of individuals entering Madison Square Garden.
According to the permit, 31st Street between 7th and 8th Avenue will be completely shut down for the entire day from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Doors for the guests will open at 3 p.m., and attendees are expected to arrive by 5 p.m., as stated in the permit. The main event will reportedly end by 4 a.m. on July 4, 2026.
The official records have revealed that the main event, which will continue until early morning, can host almost 1,000 people. Moreover, Penn Station will also restrict entry for everyone, and transit users have been requested to use a different entrance far away from the venue.
Although Taylor and the local authorities have not confirmed anything directly about the wedding, some emails have reportedly claimed that the city officials have known everything about the event since June 2026. Notably, Dawn Tolson, director of the city’s street permitting office, previously invited some City Hall staff members to discuss a permit application reportedly linked to the wedding.

Previous reports related to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding claimed that the duo would tie the knot at Madison Square Garden. However, the complete silence from the city officials and the couple themselves has raised curiosity among fans to find out if the reports are true.
While details from the city permit are already creating headlines, a majority of the fans have passed by Midtown Manhattan and planned trips to the place to allegedly keep a look at the venue before the arrival of the guests for the pre-party celebration. Notably, police protection was increased near Madison Square Garden on July 2, 2026 (ET), considering that people were spotted walking for a long time near the place.
A big tent has been put up on 31st Street outside the entrance to Madison Square Garden. Traps have reportedly been used to cover the walkway, which is going to block the view of the guests and the couple while they enter and leave the place. Pink curtains were later put up in the place, which completely secured the look of everything that was happening inside Madison Square Garden.
