Taylor Frankie Paul's Ex, Dakota Begged Cops To Arrest Him Instead Of Her For Throwing The Chair

Taylor Frankie Paul is in deep soup of controversies due to her personal and professional life taking a big blow. It all started after she was selected for The Bachelorette, but a personal video of her hitting her ex-beau, Dakota Mortensen, snatched her chance to be on the show, and it was cancelled at the last minute.

Now, a video of Taylor throwing a chair at her ex, Dakota, has been surfacing on the internet. But there is another thing that is making the buzz is on how her ex-beau, Dakota, begged the authorities to take him instead of Taylor.

The newly released video from February 2023 shows Taylor Frankie Paul's arrest in Utah. It happened after she was charged with domestic violence. The footage was shared by TMZ. The cops arrived at her home after a late-night complaint of disturbance was made. As per the police, Paul threw several objects at Dakota during the argument. 

Dakota was telling the cops that Taylor had thrown a metal barstool at him, and it ricocheted and hit her kid, who was sitting on the couch. As the cop got into their house, they separated the two, and Taylor looked intoxicated as she stumbled around the house. At one point, she tried to pour water on herself and collapsed over the sink.  

Meanwhile, her ex-beau, Dakota, was talking to the cops and saying that Taylor wasn't doing well. He was hinting at a deeper issue. He even showed the injuries he suffered during their heated fights. Moments later, Taylor was taken into custody, but Dakota was seen asking the cops if he could go instead of her. However, police found out that it was Taylor who was the main aggressor in the situation. They explained to him that Taylor needs to get a wake-up call, and Dakota responded that he just wants her to get help.

Taylor Frankie Paul was the mother of two children with her ex-husband. After the divorce, she found a new relationship with a real estate agent, Dakota Mortensen. She met him through social media, and they quickly developed a serious interest in each other. Soon, the two moved in together. Taylor always believed that Dakota was a supportive partner, and they even welcomed a son together in March 2024. 

Dakota cheated on Taylor 

It seemed that the arrival of their child had helped strengthen their relationship, but this wasn't the case. They faced their share of struggles and controversy as Dakota cheated on Taylor. It was the biggest turning point in their relationship. She found out Dakota's text messages to another woman in which he talked badly about their relationship. 

This moment shook her confidence in her boyfriend and the father of her son. During one of the episodes of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Taylor talked about the wound Dakota left and how it brought back past memories. After this, it became difficult for her to trust him. Soon, their arguments and fights became the theme of her life. Soon, family and friends stepped in and helped Taylor reassess the relationship and whether it was a healthy one for her and her three children. 

However, the relationship reached the final stage in February 2023. Taylor was arrested after a heated fight with Dakota, which turned into a physical altercation and confrontation. Taylor was found guilty of the assault charges, and it was the turning point in her life. She realised that she needed help. She accepted that the night forced her to stop drinking, seek therapy, and become the right parent figure for her three children.
