If someone would ask about the most cherished moment of your childhood, what would you say? Nowadays, Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali are busy nurturing their newborn baby girl, Tara Jay Bhanushali and their two foster kids, Rajveer Ray and Khushi Ray. Rajveer and Khushi are Jay and Mahhi’s caretakers’ kids, whom they had adopted in 2017. Jay had expressed his wish to have a baby girl and his prayers finally got answered when wife, Mahhi had given birth to their little angel, Tara on August 21, 2019. Khushi and Rajveer are the apples of Jay and Mahhi's eyes and now with Tara in their lives, their ‘happily ever after’ journey is more magical! On January 7, 2020, Tara Jay Bhanushali’s parents had shared a video in which we could see Tara’s naani playing with her and the song ‘Mere Dil Ka Tere Dil Se Rishta Purana Hai’ perfectly playing in the background. Sushma Vij could be seen enjoying her quality time with her little bundle of joy, Tara. The smile on Sushma’s face was enough to tell how happy and joyous she is while playing with Tara. On December 28, 2019, we stumbled upon an adorable picture of Tara from her Instagram handle which was beyond cute. The little cotton ball had looked beyond cute as she was curled up, in the arms of her naani, Sushma. The picture was followed by a beautiful caption that could be read as "When I was in my mumma’s tummy my naani cooked scrumptious food for me and mumma thank u naanimaa. love you. thank you @thelooneylens for the click."
Jay is a hands-on father and loves spending quality time with his three kids, Rajveer, Khushi and Tara. In an interview with the IANS, Jay had revealed that the first thing he does after waking up every day is to see his daughter, Tara’s face. He had said, “First thing is I get up, see my daughter’s face, be with her for some time, then I go and work out and I make my other two kids’ study with me. I teach them and help them complete their homework, then we watch a couple of cartoons where they learn phonics. I am getting trained to be a pro father.”
Jay, during the interview, had emphasised on the fact that without family and his wife, Mahhi’s support he would have been nowhere. He had added further, “Without the support of my family, I would have been nowhere. Especially my wife, the way she has transformed me from a boy to a man. I absolutely love spending time with my little ones. Whenever I’m not at work, I ensure that I spend most of my time with her. I take care of every little thing about her from feeding her to putting her to sleep and also do my part by helping Mahhi with whatever I can, and it is the best feeling in the world.”
It was on the singing reality show, Superstar Singer, wherein Jay Bhanushali had expressed his wish for a baby girl. And God finally fulfilled his wish on August 21, 2019. On the show, Jay had revealed, "No relationship in the world can match the sanity of a father-daughter relationship and I wish that when my wife gives birth to a baby, she is a baby girl. I have no preference as such and it is not that I won't like if a baby boy is born but I admire this bond and since I have had a father-son connect with my father, now when I have a child, I want a daughter so that I can experience this too."
