Veteran actress, Smita Jaykar left everyone shocked when she split details about the once-madly-in-love couple, Aishwarya and Salman's love story. While some are eager to know what went wrong between the ex-flame, people are forgetting that Aishwarya has moved on in her life and is a married lady with a daughter. Aishwarya's fans roasted Smita for her shocking interview and revealing details about Salman and Aishwarya.
Recently, an interview clip of Smita Jaykar, who played Aishwarya Rai's mother in the film, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, shared details about the actress past relationship with Salman. She revealed shocking details about Salman and Aishwarya's love story that blossomed during the shooting of the film. She claimed that Salman and Aishwarya's love started during the shooting of the film and it worked for them. She said:
"At that time their love story had just started, it blossomed there, so it was showing and it worked very well for the film."

She also shared an anecdote and revealed Salman got scolded by the director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, as he wasn't able to control himself from touching her. Recalling the moment, Smita was quoted as saying:
"I remembered one scene from the song Aankhon Ki Gustakhiya, where Salman had to go all the way round as Ash and me was standing next to each other, as I was like a mother to her all the time. He goes and touches her like this, and moves ahead. Sanjay said, 'Why did you touch her you are not supposed to touch her.' You know the feeling of touching and vo jab naye-naye pyaar mein saara-sara hota hai. He said, 'Oh, I didn't know'. Fir se vo shot hua."

As soon as the video was posted, netizens flooded the comments section. One user wrote, "By the way, did this question need to be asked? She is someone's wife, someone's mother, now forget it." Another one commented, "They both had no right to discuss about 2 people who have parted ways and are leading their own lives!! Totally uncalled for!!" One user also penned, "These are questions by nosy aunties, not professional at all."
After coming out of the ugly relationship, AIshwarya Rai shared a press release and asked the entire media and film fraternity not to associate her with Salman Khan ever in the future. However, when Aishwarya appeared on Simi Garewal's show, Simi directly questioned Aishwarya Rai about her past conflict with Salman Khan. Without blinking even an eyelid, Aishwarya straight away denied talking about him. She clearly stated that the topic was in the past and should be left there. She was quoted as saying:
"I think it’s quite shut out; I don’t want to get into looking at it any which way, especially on the public platform. It’s in the past, and it should be left there. I have exercised my demons."
