The life of a couple takes a U-turn when they get the news of the arrival of a new member into their lives. Everything, from their eating preferences to sleeping orders completely goes for a toss. Televisions' sweethearts and now proud parents, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij can totally relate to this as they are going through the same emotions. On August 21, 2019, Jay and Mahhi had welcomed their little angel to this world and had named her Tara Jay Bhanushali. Since then, their Instagram feeds were filled with partial glimpses of their daughter. After waiting for quite some time, on December 25th, 2019, we finally saw the first picture of Tara. Jay had promised his fans that he would be sharing the first picture of Tara on his birthday (i.e., December 25th, 2019). Sharing a family picture, he had written, "Babies cry at birth because it is the first time they experience separation from love.. 25th December my Birthday will be sharing you my baby @tarajaybhanushali 1st picture to the world super excited."
On December 28, 2019, we stumbled upon an adorable picture of Tara Jay Bhanushali from her Instagram handle which is managed by her parents. The little cotton ball looked beyond cute as she curled up, sleeping peacefully in the arms of her naani, Sushma Vij. The picture was followed by a beautiful caption that could be read as "When I was in my mumma’s tummy my naani cooked scrumptious food for me and mumma thank u naanimaa. love you. thank you @thelooneylens for the click."
On December 25, 2019, Jay Bhanushali had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared the picture of her doting daughter, Tara. Along with the picture, he had written, "As promised on my first Birthday with @tarajaybhanushali pls welcome my teddy bear my life my soul my happiness.. your first breath took ours away her little hands stole my heart. her little feet ran away with it.. #firstchristmas #birthday #daughter #daddysgirl #fatherdaughter @mahhivij #birthday." In an interview with the Bombay Times, Jay had talked about embracing fatherhood. He had shared, "I can’t describe the feeling. I have just become the father of a very beautiful child and I thank God for being kind to us. She is a little angel and I can’t wait to bring her home. I wish to give her all the happiness in life, and that will be my aim now. My other two children will also be delighted to have a new member at home."
In another interview with the IANS, Jay had shared that he was learning lullabies for his angel, Tara. He had stated, "I want to help Mahhi in whatever ways possible. I would want Mahhi to take complete care of herself and our baby, so to help her not missing out on her sleep later in the months, I am learning lullabies and practising it daily. It would be great if I am able to take responsibility for calming our baby in the middle of the night. I spoke to all the captains -- Salman Ali, Sachin Valmiki, Nitin Kumar and Jyotica Tangri and, they came up with this idea to learn lullabies. Not confident of pulling it off, I told them it's not possible for me to do. But they are giving me all the confidence. I told them not to force me, but they are all too excited to teach me.
