Tanya Mittal Fed Up Of Fans Harassing Her Amid Outfit Controversy? 'BB19' Fame Shares Video, 'Under'

Tanya Mittal is best known for her stint on the hit reality show, Bigg Boss 19. While she has had the opportunity to revel in her fame, many might have noticed that the buzz surrounding her has recently become rather controversial. It all started when influencer and fashion brand owner, Prince Chaudhary, accused her and her team of not returning outfits borrowed from his label on time. The disagreement over designer clothes has slowly escalated into a huge social media controversy. And while Tanya chose to keep her mum and not address the allegations in detail, it seems that she is clearly fed up with the alleged abusive fan behaviour.

Tanya Mittal re-shares a video urging people to stop “harassing her”

A while ago, Tanya Mittal reshared a video urging people not to ‘target’ and ‘harass’ her. The original video was posted by celebrity anchor and social media personality, Faridoon Shahryar. Speaking in support of the Bigg Boss 19 fame, Faridoon said, “She's (Tanya) a simple girl. The way things are being written about her, the way she is constantly being targeted, and the manner in which she is perpetually under the scanner is simply not right.”

In the video, Faridoon revealed that he had interviewed Tanya on his podcast in the past but had not been in touch with her since. Recalling his experience from that time, he claimed that he found Tanya to be “genuine, sincere, and straightforward.” He added:

“Perhaps she may not know all the intricacies of the industry, but that does not make her deserving of the constant criticism and scrutiny that comes her way.”

The podcast host urged fans to remember that behind every social media profile that we come across and behind a public image, there is a real human being. This is why one should not rush to judge someone. Faridoon also emphasised the importance of kindness and empathy when talking about individuals online.

About the Tanya Mittal and Prince Chaudhary controversy over designer clothes

As we mentioned previously, the controversy began after Prince Chaudhary publicly accused Tanya and her team of not returning an outfit they had borrowed from his fashion label, Nayaab By Prince. He shared a video online in which he claims he initially did not want to speak publicly on the matter, but felt he had no other option after a few months. According to Prince, the collaboration began through his own efforts after he reached out to Tanya on WhatsApp about a possible partnership. After Tanya responded positively, he was connected with her stylist for further collaboration.

Prince revealed that Tanya's stylist had selected three outfits from his collection, from which one final piece was sent to Tanya in Noida. He claimed that he had made it clear to the team that the clothing item had to be returned to him within one month before he dispatched the outfit. However, according to Prince, the outfit was not returned within the deadline. Apparently, he had to constantly follow up with Tanya's team regarding the return of the clothing item.

Prince alleged that at one point, Tanya's stylist informed him that the lehenga, which he sent her, would once again be worn by Tanya for a temple visit, which is what caused the delay in returning the piece. However, after communication started growing inconsistent, Prince was redirected to another team member to coordinate the item's return. This prompted Prince to ask:

“Is this how you support a local brand?”

In one of his later videos, Prince said that he might have to take legal action if the outfit was not returned within 24 to 48 hours. However, soon after this, he revealed that he had finally received a tracking ID for the outfit's return, after he allegedly sent messages to Tanya's brother about taking formal legal steps.
