Tanuj Virwani Learns Cooking From Mother, Rati Agnihotri On Video Calls In Lockdown Amid COVID-19

While some are spending time in quarantine with their family members, some are miles away from them. However, there’s a middle ground too, as some mother-children duos have turned the technology as the bridge between them and are trying cooking the things with the help of video calls. One such person is Bollywood actor, Tanuj Virwani, who is learning some delicious recipes from his mother and veteran actress, Rati Agnihotri through video calls. Recently, the actor talked about the same in an interview and also revealed the dishes he has already learnt and made with the help of his mom in lockdown. The actor also talked about his quarantine routine and the short film that he has made, which is getting a lot of attention on social media.

Recently in an interview with the IANS, Tanuj Virwani revealed how badly he’s missing his mother and her hand-made delicacies in lockdown. However, the actor added that a big thank you goes to the technology because of which he’s able to be in touch with his mother. Tanuj revealed, “Mom is in Poland and I am grateful to digital connectivity that we can be in touch constantly. She has also been teaching me how to cook, especially the dishes that I love. I just prepared mutton chops with fried eggs, something that dad and I love a lot.” The actor is utilising his quarantine time in the best way possible by learning some recipes and also making a short film, Urban Incarceration. The actor talked about his short film in the same interview and revealed that the sole purpose of making this short film is to make people aware of the ongoing crisis. He added further in his interview, “The goal of the short film is to let everyone know that be it a celebrity or a normal everyday office-going person, we are all in this together and that is what makes us human. It's sad that it has taken such an extreme situation for us to realise that no one is impenetrable. Hopefully, if I can enlighten my fans along with entertaining them this would all be totally worth it. The message is simple. Don't let your paranoia get the better of you. Retain your sanity. This too shall pass.” (Also Read: Rani Mukerji Spills Beans On What Made Her Fall In Love With Aditya Chopra)
