According to social media reports, it was in 2022 that Tallulah Willis announced that she and her fiance, Dillon had broken up. Tallulah claimed that after her dad, Bruce, publicly mentioned that he was diagnosed with a degenerative brain condition, Dillon dumped her. A report by National Post.com mentioned Tallulah speaking about her breakup and said:
"My boyfriend, who was by then my fiance, dumped me. I was given a new diagnosis: Borderline Personality Disorder, an illness that impairs the ability to regulate emotions and find stability in relationships."
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughter, Tallulah was vulnerable when she spoke about her mental health issues. At one end, she was dealing with her breakup, and on the other side, she was diagnosed with ADHD and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). She also had a severe eating disorder, and her weight had dropped to 84 lbs.

Tallulah Willis had revealed that she had reached a point where, after being dumped by Dillon, her family stepped in to help her. She was sent to an inpatient facility located in Texas after she was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. She added that she was given a new diagnosis with an illness that impairs the ability to regulate emotions and find stability in relationships.
Speaking about Tallulah Willis' ex-fiance, Dillon Buss he had documented the proposal he had made to her without her knowledge. As per reports, Dillon's friend hid in their backyard bushes when Dillon got down on one knee and proposed to Tallulah. He proposed within a year of dating, and she was overwhelmed and excited to start a new life with him.
Tallulah Willis and Dillon Buss were very serious about one another. When the COVID-19-induced lockdown took place in 2020, Dillon had spent time with Tallulah at her childhood home in Hailey, Idaho. He was accepted by Demi Moore and her family. He was almost seen in all the family pictures with Tallulah's parents and sisters and had a good time during the quarantine period. Tallulah had once also mentioned that she was very grateful to have Dillon in her life. She had mentioned on social media about how Borderline Personality Disorder used to flare up her mood. Once, she just wanted to curl under the sheets and succumb to her spiral. She wanted her alone time, and praising Dillon, she had said:
"I texted my partner I was having an off day and needed some alone time, he told me he understood and was here to hold whatever space he could. Forty minutes later, the door creaked open and there he was with a picnic basket carrying my favorite snacks and drinkies.' We sat outside and talked about our first kisses. I felt today, the word ‘grateful’ become unspooled and reframed."
