Do you remember earlier when Taimur Ali Khan used to travel with his star parents, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, how adorably he used to sleep in their arms during their airport spotting? Well, gone are those days as now, baby Tim loves to make his airport appearances in style, sitting on his father, Saif’s shoulders and waving and smiling to his media friends. And September 18, 2019, is no different!
On September 21, 2019, Kareena Kapoor Khan will turn 39 and to celebrate her special day, she has jetted off to the Pataudi Palace with her hubby, Saif Ali Khan and their son, Taimur Ali Khan. Bebo aced her airport look in a classic blue ripped denim and white tee which she had paired with a brown jacket and boots. Saif too, opted for a blue kurta and white pyjama, keeping his look comfy and classy. Twinning with his parents, Taimur looked adorable in a white loose-fitted tee and blue-coloured lower, enjoying his piggyback on Saif’s shoulders.
Looks like the Kapoor-Pataudi trio has a soft corner for the hues of blue and white as in a throwback picture from their work-cum-leisure vacation in South Africa, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Taimur Ali Khan were sporting the same shades of outfits. In a family picture from a beach of South Africa that had gone viral on social media back then, Bebo had given beachwear goals in a white summery and breezy dress, which she had paired with a yellow hairband and glares. Saif too, had kept it casual in a light blue and white-striped shirt which he had paired with white shorts and a beach hat. And baby Tim had charmed us in his light blue tee with khaki shorts.
A few days back, to mark Ganesh Chaturthi 2019, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Babita, Hiroo Johar, Armaan Jain and his fiancee, Anissa Malhotra along with kids, Kiaan Raj Kapoor, Taimur Ali Khan, Roohi Johar and Yash Johar had gathered at Rima Jain’s abode to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha before bidding him adieu. Karisma had shared glimpses from the celebrations and in one video, we can spot baby Tim chanting ‘Mangal Moorti Morya’ with his mamu, Armaan and cousin, Kiaan! And it was then, when Armaan Jain had treated Taimur Ali Khan’s fans with a glimpse of baby Tim doing bicycle crunches with him. Dressed in white kurta-pyjama, baby Tim could be seen acing the bicycle crunches as his mamu, Armaan teaches him. Given that his mommy, Kareena Kapoor Khan is a fitness freak, it came as no surprise that Taimur had nailed the crunches like a pro! Armaan had also shared a picture with Taimur holding tambourine and had captioned it as “Hey Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me!” (swipe right for the video)
A few months back, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had taken some time off their hectic work schedules and were holidaying at the Pataudi Palace along with Taimur Ali Khan. A picture that had gone viral on the internet, had baby Tim and his mommy, Kareena twinning in similar America’s flag-printed sweatshirts! In the picture, while Taimur was busy playing with the grass, his mommy was busy adoring her baby boy and abba, Saif, patting their dog.
During an interaction with the Bombay Times, Saif Ali Khan was asked about how he manages to spend time with his family owing to the hectic work schedule. To which, the Sacred Games star had stated, "When I come home after work and find Taimur sleeping, I feel bad. We shoot long hours, but if I haven’t packed up even after 8 pm, I feel uncomfortable because it means taking away time from my son." He had further said, "In my growing-up years, my parents taught me about the importance of respecting family space. My father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) was a cricketer and mother (Sharmila Tagore) is an actress, and they both had hectic schedules. However, we learnt that it is important to talk about other things, too, at home and that’s how life becomes beautiful."
In an interaction with nutrition expert, Rujuta Diwekar for a Facebook Live session, Kareena Kapoor Khan had mentioned that her two-and-half-year-old son, Taimur Ali Khan is not allowed to have food at the birthday parties. Revealing the main reason behind it, Bebo had shared, “Only (home-cooked food). I am hyper paranoid. He goes to birthday parties and he is not allowed to eat outside. But that’s also wrong but ya...” To which Tim’s abba, Saif Ali Khan added, “He eats chips though.” Kareena had further continued what she serves Taimur, “khichdi, idli dosa... healthy kind of home-cooked food.” She had further added, “So I sit on a plan also. Every month I alternate it accordingly. Whatever fruits and vegetables he should be eating in the month... he quite enjoys it. Today, he actually had saag (spinach) for lunch and he normally didn’t like it but I have been shoving it down his throat. So now he’s got used to it.
