Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s firstborn had surpassed every standard of popularity as right after the birth, their baby, Taimur Ali Khan had become the nation’s favourite star kid. It was on December 20, 2016, when Kareena and Saif had welcomed the little prince of Pataudi, Taimur into their lives. The very first glimpse of baby Tim had broken the internet. With those chubby red cheeks and grey eyes, Taimur had made his way into the hearts of millions. As the baby boy turned 5, his mommy, Kareena, who is under quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19, wished her little one.
To announce the birth of Taimur Ali Khan, his parents, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had released an official statement which could be read as:
“We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well-wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all...With love, Saif & Kareena.”

Taking to her IG handle, Kareena Kapoor Khan wished her firstborn, Taimur Ali Khan in the most adorable manner. She shared a Reel on her IG handle, from the time when Taimur was learning to walk. In the video, he can be seen making his first steps and falling down adorably. Sharing the video, Kareena wrote:
"Your first steps your first fall... I recorded it with so much pride. This isn’t your first or last fall, my son, but I do know one thing for sure… you will always pick yourself up, take bigger strides, and march along head held high... 'cause you are my tiger... Happy Birthday my heartbeat... My Tim Tim no one like you mera beta. #HappyBirthdayTimTim #MeraBeta #MyTiger."
Taimur Ali Khan’s fourth birthday had begun with his amma, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s wish for him. Kareena had posted a video of her son that had comprised of some priceless memories of the little one. She had captioned her post as:
“My child... I’m happy at four you have such determination, dedication and focus on what you want to do... which is now picking up the haystack and feeding the cow... God bless you my hardworking boy... but on the way, don’t forget to taste the snow, pluck flowers, jump up and down, climb trees and ofcourse eat all your cake... Chase your dreams and keep your chin up my boy... but above all else... do everything in your life that makes you smile. No one can or ever will love you more than your Amma. Happy Birthday Son... My Tim.”

A few months back, we had got our hands on Taimur’s picture right after the delivery. In the picture, we could see the then-newborn, Taimur peacefully sleeping in the crib at the Breach Candy Hospital, where he was born. Draped in a white cloth, we could see innocence dripping down his face and the baby tag attached to his crib had the essential details like mother’s name, weight, height written over it. Well, Taimur’s weight, when he was born was 2.96 kgs.
In September 2020, Kareena and Saif had spoken about the ‘surreal’ feeling of holding their firstborn for the first time in their arms. When asked, “What was it like to hold your baby for the first time?” while Kareena had said, “Even though I carried him for nine months, I think every mother experiences this. I just felt extremely surreal”, Saif Ali Khan had remarked, “I think we cannot describe it in words.”
