One of the cutest jodies of the telly world, Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai had surprised everyone when they had announced the news of their pregnancy. And since then, we have been witnessing the adorable moments from their pregnancy diaries. A few days back, Suyyash was tested positive for COVID-19 and he had quarantined himself. Now, the actor-turned singer revealed how much he misses being with his pregnant wife.

It was on March 2, 2021, when Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai had taken to their respective IG handles to share the ‘good news’ of their lives. To announce that they’re expecting their first child, Kishwer and Suyyash had posted a romantic picture from the beach, in which he could be seen sitting on his knees, holding his wife as she had caressed her baby bump. With 'August 2021' engraved on the sand, Kishwer had captioned her post as "You can now stop asking, 'When are you guys gonna have a baby?' Coming soon ... #august2021 #sukishkababy", and Suyyash had written, "Mai tere bacche ka baap banne wala hun, Kishwer! Coming this August."
A few moments back, Suyyash took to his IG handle and shared a picture with his fur babies, sharing the news of him being tested Covid positive. Revealing how much he misses being with his pregnant wife, Kishwer, Suyyash wrote, “Had tested positive about 10-11 days back!! Isolated myself in right time, took the best home care and medications!!! Ate right, rested well!! Gods been really really kind that rest everyone at home are fine too!!! Missed being with @kishwersmerchantt."
Suyyash further shared how his dogs were his constant support throughout and continued, “Lived a very different life in last few days...in laws and our house help took good care… all day video calls with Mumma Papa, Didi n BeeWeee... @raishrutirai sent food, boht paas se dekha yeh sab! And these 2, @batuknathrai and @pablosexxobarr were my constant support, specially PABLO!!! They knew somethings not right... dinn leave my side for a second also, he even came to the washroom with me 4 am in the morning also all this helped me recover fine. Last couple of days and m gonna be back on my feet. Stay home guys spend this time with ur family and loved ones... it’s a phase, and it shall pass we all are in this together!!! Last but not the least, wanna thank everyone who kept a check on me all the time, means a lot!!! I will remember this alwaysssss. May the power, the almighty we with everyone! Love you all!”

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Suyyash and Kishwer had revealed that their pregnancy had come as a shocker to them. The mommy-to-be had said, "It's amazing, I just can't describe it in words. I mean, after all, it's my first baby! I am super nervous too as it's my first time and I don't really know what to do. But thankfully we have our family, friends who have kids to guide us better. So I am sure it will be sorted." The daddy-to-be had chipped in, "It's a beautiful feeling, I can't express in words. I mean I am super nervous and tensed too but moreover, it's a fabulous feeling."
In the same interview, Kishwer had talked about getting pregnant naturally at the age of 40. She had shared, "Being a mother at 40 is cool and age is just a number. It was destined to happen this year, I guess. I asked all sorts of questions to the doctor but she's asked me not to worry. I have cousins who have delivered at 40 and 42, so I don’t see age as a problem and things are changing as many people don't have kids at 20 or 24 but a bit later. Moreover, due to our lifestyle, workout, healthy eating, it will be fine, and delivering at 40 is fine.”
