From childhood sweethearts to husband and wife, Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan’s love journey was aspired by all their fans. This is the reason why their divorce announcement came as a shock. The couple decided to end their 14 years of marriage in the year 2014. But their divorce didn’t affect their bond and respect they have for each other.
On Hrithik’s 44th birthday on January 10, 2018, the first wish came from none other than his ex-wife Sussanne. Sharing an adorable selfie with the birthday boy, she posted a heartfelt wish for the sunshine of her life, “Forever and always you stay the sunshine in my life.. Happy happiest birthday smile that smile brightest and u always will spread that light...limitless #sacredheart”.
The picture seems to be like from their recent New Year vacation in France, where the ex-couple was accompanied by their two sons- Hrehaan and Hridaan. Hrithik and Sussanne’s marriage vows might not have worked but they are responsible parents and are always together when it is anything about their kids. The couple decided to end their marriage on an amicable note for the good upbringing of their children.
They are often spotted together at family dinners, family vacations to exotic locations, spending quality time with their kids and are always through thick n thin of each other. In the whole Kangana-Hrithik fiasco, Sussanne spoke in favour of Hrithik, which shows the cordial relationship that the couple shares. This is what she wrote, “There is no allegation or a sad evil plot that can have the weight to triumph over a good soul. #mafamilia #powerofthetruth #pureheart”
But Sussanne has made it clear that there will be no reconciliation between them. This is what she tweeted, “I request people to stop speculating. There will never be a reconciliation with @iHrithik. But we will always be good parents. #no1priority”. When asked Hrithik about his current relationship with his ex-wife, he said, “We have always maintained peace. We are wonderful parents to our kids and we are friends. I don’t think I can ever have any other equation with a friend or family or someone who is not peaceful. I am not the kind of the man who blames or complains about someone.”
Hrithik is known as Bollywood’s “Greek God” and he swooned everyone with his spectacular performance and his dancing skills in his debut film, Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. In his career span of 18 years, Hrithik has created a niche for himself in the industry with some prominent films in his baggage. On the professional front, he will be next seen in Krrish 4.
The friendship bond between this ex-couple is truly giving us goals.
