After their many outings and dinner dates together, a media report recently suggested that the two are thinking to get back to being together. It was reported, "Hrithik and Sussanne are working it out. They identified the stress areas in their relationship and are doing their best to work their way around them. Give them time—they will come together again."
But when a family member was approached by an online portal, the fans met with disappointment. The source shared the member as saying, "They are done with one another- to even suggest that they can be a couple again is ridiculous. They've agreed to meet and spend time together for their children's sake whenever they feel like it. Beyond their obligation as parents, both Hrithik and Sussanne have their own separate lives."
Sussanne also had to take to Twitter to clarify the things. She had tweeted, "Like I always said, Hrithik and I are parents first and have to be in-sync regarding our priorities as parents in order to make sure our boys get the best upbringing. They are and always will be our main priority. So, the two of us having lunch with them doesn't mean we are holidaying together."
When Hrithik and Sussanne had announced their divorce, a stir was created among the fans and media. Citing the reasons behind the same, Sussanne had then said, "We had reached a stage in our lives where I decided that it is better we weren't together. It was important to be aware and not be in a false relationship. We are close (friends)." In another interview, she had further added, " We do chat a lot even though we don't hang out together anymore. But above all, we are very committed to our children. Hrithik's father, Rakesh Roshan was recently diagnosed with early stage of skin cancer. The Super 30 actor shared the news on social media by sharing the following pic with his father and captioning it as, "Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldnt miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love you Dad."
Sussane immediately took to Instagram and left a sweet comment on Hrithik's post. She wrote, "He is the stronger than any superhero, all will go smoothly."
Sussanne's father, Sanjay Khan had recently commented on her daughter's divorce and said, "I love Hrithik still and I love my daughter. They must have their reasons. Fine. But the good part is, they’re still very good friends. And the children don’t feel the negative impact of their separation because of the combined efforts of both to keep it working. They holiday together, they take care of the children from time to time, babysitting and stuff. When people say that Hrithik is no longer my son-in-law, I say I have a relationship with him: he is the father of my grandchildren, and that can never be erased! So, umm, I still hope they get back together. That’s it."
