Sushant Singh Rajput's Brother-In-Law Reveals He Created Nepometer Not For Money But For This Reason

The decade-long debate about the existence of nepotism and favouritism in Bollywood erupted to an all-time high when on June 14, 2020, the news of actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's death had surfaced all over the internet. The cause of his death was suicide, and everyone was so numbed after hearing this that they were not able to express their pain in words. Some of the family members, fans, and co-actors are still in shock and are still finding it hard to digest the fact that Sushant has left for the heavenly abode. Since his death, a lot has been said, and tons of celebrities have come forward to reveal their stories against nepotism in Bollywood. In the middle of all of this, Sushant Singh Rajput’s brother-in-law, Vishal Kriti has launched an app by the name, Nepometer. The sole purpose of the app is to track the percentage of nepotism in a film so that everyone can see how Bollywood works in reality. However, some people had accused Vishal of minting money out of this app and he has answered all the accusations in his recent tweet. Scroll down to see it!

On July 3, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput’s brother-in-law, Vishal Kriti took to his Twitter handle and tweeted a tweet revealing that their whole family is still grieving in the pain of Sushant’s loss. The only way he and his family had decided to make this app is to make people aware of the existing nepotism in the film industry, and it’s a small tribute for the actor. The tweet can be read as “We’re still grieving. Our focus now is to take care of each other. I shared my brother’s idea of Nepometer because it enables people to make informed choices. It’s a small tribute to Sushant. It’s a not for profit voluntary effort. Please stay patient since it isn’t our 1st priority.” (Don’t Miss: Ankita Konwar Shares An Inspirational Post To Wish Her 'Saasu Maa', Usha Soman On Her 81st Birthday)

The family had also created an Instagram handle for the app and had uploaded a post in which they had revealed the most significant reason behind the creation of this app and website. On June 28, 2020, we saw a post on the handle in which we could see a lengthy caption explaining the reason why the family had decided to bring this app for the people. A little excerpt from the long post could be read as “Dear Friends, Our family is devastated with #SushantSinghRajput‘s passing away. We all want #justiceforsushant and request everyone to pray & demand the truth to come out. This has also exposed the dark side of Bollywood and how some of the very few abuse & exploit independent artists. It’s time to take some concrete action on this front as well. I’m afraid that this momentum and outrage might fade away in a few weeks. We all signed up for change. org petitions with great unity and it shows that we are looking for this Bollywood nepotism to change.”

Well, the family, a lot of stars, and fans are demanding a CBI enquiry into the matter because they think that Sushant isn’t the kind of person, who’ll commit suicide. Also, Sushant’s maternal uncle had highlighted the same point and had asked for a proper investigation into the matter. He had said, “We don’t think he committed suicide, police must investigate the matter. There seems to be a conspiracy behind his death. He has been murdered.” Not just the family members but Jan Adhikar Party chief, Pappu Yadav has also paid a visit to Sushant’s father and has stressed upon the same saying, “Sushant Singh Rajput has been murdered, he cannot commit suicide. I demand CBI enquiry into the matter.” (Also Read: Vanitha Vijayakumar's Hubby, Peter Paul's Son Calls Him An Alcoholic And A Man With Too Many Affairs)
