A house which was once strewn with makeup, clothes, beer bottles, now seems to be laden with cries, laughter, the smell of baby powder and antiseptic solutions! On November 08, 2018, Surveen Chawla had shared a piece of wonderful news with her fans. Sharing a framed photograph of her with hubby Akshay Thakker, and two tiny red baby shoes (whose significance we will reveal later) kept in front of it, this is what the Hate Story 2 star had written, “Life happens when it chooses to happen when it wants to happen. And it is happening right now in this very moment, making our blessed and beautiful world even more blessed than what it already is! Yes, there is a miracle taking place, a miracle called life! And we are growing by two little teeny-weeny feet!! @akshaythakker.”
The couple was expecting their first child in April 2019 and so they did! Two days earlier, on April 20, 2019, Surveen Chawla shared a picture and revealed that she now finally has two little feet to fill up the red shoes she had used to share the news of her pregnancy. Sharing a picture of two tiny feet of their baby daughter, Eva, the newbie mommy wrote, “We now have her tiny feet to fill the tiny shoes! Blessed by her wonderful arrival in our little family! Welcoming our daughter Eva @akshaythakker.” Here is the picture:
Surveen Chawla was discharged from the hospital yesterday (April 21, 2019), and as they were all set to leave for their home, shutterbugs grabbed most of their first family picture. The awesome three, Chawla-Thakker lot, happily posed for the camera as they were all set to take their munchkin home. Surveen happily posed for the camera and looked resplendent in a feather-grey undertone post-pregnancy dress, which she teamed with white sneakers and her baby girl wrapped in her arms. On March 2019, Surveen Chawla had taken to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her godh bharai (baby shower). Dressed in a yellow saree, pink blouse, heavy pearl necklace and jhumkas, the then soon-to-be mommy looked a million dollars! What had further accentuated her look was her neatly tied flower-adorned bun, small pink bindi and the pregnancy glow on her face. Sharing the pictures, Surveen had written, “The Godh Bharai" for the little angel... Sharing another set of pictures from her baby shower ceremony with the same look, Surveen Chawla had written, “What joy looks like..... Beautiful jewellery by @satyanifinejewels.” While that was all about her traditional look, what looked like it, the pretty then-mommy-to-be had, later on, changed to a sexy orange off-shoulder maternity dress which she teamed-up with similar jhumkas. In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, Surveen Chawla had gotten all candid about her mood swings, pregnancy feeling and how her husband, Akshay Thakker, took care of his wifey. Calling him the most amazing (then) dad-to-be, Surveen had stated, “Both of us have been supporting each other in different ways. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is absolutely wonderful and he is one of those who without saying, jumps on to taking responsibilities. There's nothing more, that I could have asked for. There is pampering, he takes my mood swings and he is just the most amazing to-be-dad.”
Sharing her excitement upon embracing motherhood, Surveen Chawla had shared, “You know the idea of it being just beautiful is not true. It's actually a rollercoaster ride for every woman, but a beautiful one. Having said that, the real beautiful experience will begin when the special little one is in your arms when not just the baby but a new you will be born. I can foresee that happening. You are happy, excited and anxious all at the same time. because you feel like you are not born with the knowledge of how you are going to do this, but the truth is that you are actually born to do this.”
Surveen Chawla had further added, “You know nothing and then when the time comes, you know it all. I think the moment he or she is out in the world, that would be the real turning point - the moment of truth, the moment of change. Your body will just produce the right hormones for you to feel that your world is in our arms.
