Those tiny hands, little feet, rosy lips and chubby cheeks, one look at your newborn evades every pain or hormonal ups and downs in a jiffy. Life takes a 360-degree turn when any couple embraces parenthood. Such has been the case with newbie mom of the Tinseltown, Surveen Chawla. For the ones who don’t know, Surveen had tied the knot with Akshay Thakker in a secret ceremony, and her fans came to know about it three years later. Yes, she had successfully kept it a secret!
On April 19, 2019, Surveen and Akshay had entered the parents’ club. The couple became proud parents to a baby girl, whom they had lovingly named, Eva, which means ‘life’ or ‘living one.’ Surveen had just shared a glimpse of the tiny feet of her little munchkin and since then, all of us has been waiting for the complete picture of her tiny tot. Along with the above picture, she had written, “We now have her tiny feet to fill the tiny shoes! Blessed by her wonderful arrival in our little family! On July 23, 2019, the official photographer of Surveen and her baby’s photoshoot, Sujata Setia of But Natural Photography took to her official Instagram handle and shared two dreamy pictures of Surveen and her 3-month-old baby girl. The little munchkin looks lovely and cute as a cotton ball wrapped up in knitted cloth. What made us all go ‘awww’ was her lovely floral hairband. In another picture, which has Surveen lovingly holding her little cutie on her shoulder, the doting mommy can be seen wearing a maroon furry outfit. Checkout both the pictures here:
The ace photographer worded the post as, “Some people come in your life to just spread light. That’s what I felt when I met @surveenchawla @akshaythakker and their little angel Eva. It was sheer fortune and help from India’s most famous film photojournalist @viralbhayani that our paths crossed. Surveen invited me to travel to India to photograph her newborn baby girl and it was truly magical. I’ll be honest I was pretty nervous because Surveen is such a renowned star of the Indian film industry... She further wrote, “But it was shockingly beautiful the way Akshay and Surveen welcomed me and my incredible assistant @neelamvyasphotography into their home. It was like being with friends you know!! The comfort, the fun banter, a glass of wine (only after the shoot though) or may be more than just one glass. I came back to London with a lot of love packed in my heart. Thanks so much for your generosity and love guys. Eva is blessed to have such incredible daddy and mummy. I can’t wait to meet her again. And ofcourse can’t waitttt to watch season 2 of Sacred Games on @netflix_in Surveen. Posting a pic of a framed photograph of herself with hubby Akshay Thakker, and two tiny red baby shoes kept in front of it, the Hate Story 2 star had shared the news of her pregnancy with her Insta family and the rest of the world. She had written, “Life happens when it chooses to happen, when it wants to happen. And it is happening right now in this very moment, making our blessed and beautiful world even more blessed than what it already is! Yes, there is a miracle taking place, a miracle called life! Speaking about shattering pregnancy stereotypes, Surveen Chawla had shared in an interview with Pinkvilla, “I was clear that I don't want to consciously get conscious of the fact that I am pregnant, and that I must hide the bump and that I must wear loose clothes, and my body will look a certain way. In fact, there was only one thing that I would tell my stylist please don't get me loose fitted clothes, I want to flaunt the bump, let it be as sexy as it has always been. I don't want to suddenly change the way I dress because motherhood is on its way. That was the only thing and also I feel it is one thing which one shouldn't hide behind a piece of fabric and only flaunt.”
She had also revealed when will she will be back to work and was quoted as saying, “Right now, I have Eva to take care of, but you will see me back as soon as Sacred Games 2 gets launched. Expressing how life has changed with the arrival of little Eva in their lives, Surveen had stated, “It hasn’t hit me completely. I am feeling strange, thinking and feeling the way I am doing. It almost feels like. You know, sometimes people say that a new ‘you’ will be born when you give birth, this almost feels like that. I am feeling things which were alien to me. Just feeling them is surreal, in a good way, of course. The feeling is inexplicable, and I can’t describe it in words.”
