Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film, Animal has taken over all the headlines since the time it hit the silver screens. Within a few days of its release, the film named itself the biggest blockbuster of this year. Moreover, it was the top-notch acting performance of Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol that left everyone in awe. For the unversed, while Ranbir was the protagonist in the film, Bobby Deol played the part of a silent antagonist. However, it is worth mentioning that although Bobby Deol had a very short role in Animal, it was more than impactful and left people tagging the actor as 'Lord Bobby'. And now, Bobby's brother, Sunny Deol, opened up about his brother's success in the film while revealing that he didn't like certain things in it.

Sunny Deol heaps praise on Bobby Deol for achieving success with the movie, Animal

In a recent interview with NDTV, Sunny Deol discussed his brother, Bobby Deol's success with the film, Animal. The actor mentioned how happy he was while stating that it was high time when Bobby achieved success, as people weren't fair to him. Heaping praise on his brother, Sunny said that everyone was well aware of the former's capacity and his persona, but no one was letting him do anything. Talking more about the same, Sunny mentioned:

"I’m so, so happy for him. It’s high time it happened. I can say now, people were not fair to him. I can’t talk about myself, but I can talk about him. They’ll call him a ‘sweet boy’, but nobody is doing anything. They know his capacity, they know his persona, but nobody let it happen.”

Sunny Deol recalls walking out of his seat watching Bobby Deol getting killed in Animal

Going further in the interview, Sunny Deol mentioned that he doesn't like to essay the roles that Bobby played in Animal and Aashram. Talking about the same, Sunny stated that he watched Animal, which he thinks to be a nice film. Sunny further mentioned that he will continue to have bits and pieces about any films, even if it is his own. Speaking along the same lines, Sunny mentioned that he got out of his seat and walked out as soon as Bobby Deol was getting killed in the movie, Animal. Sharing more details about the same, Sunny said:

"I watched it, but… Animal is a great film, it’s a nice film. People are loving it. I’ll have my bits and pieces about any film, even my own films. That’s me, it ain’t gonna change. But I’m not going to talk about it… When I was seeing Bobby being killed, I just got out of the seat and I couldn’t take it. I just wanted to go out and do something.”

Sunny Deol talks about Bobby Deol's performance in Aashram

Not only for Animal, but Sunny Deol also praised his brother, Bobby Deol, for the overall achievements that he achieved this year. Crediting Prakash Jha's web series, Aashram, Sunny mentioned how it was the most watched thing in the country. Sunny stated:

"It was overdue. He became successful with Aashram. That went to the grassroot level, it was the most-watched thing in the country."

Bobby Deol talked about his short screen time in Animal

Earlier, in an interview with the PTI, Bobby Deol opened up about his short screen time in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer, Animal. The actor shared that he really wished he could have had more screen time in the movie. Talking more about his role, Bobby revealed that when he was signing the film, he had knowledge about his short screen time in the movie, but he was grateful to God as he received such an opportunity. He also added that he knew his character would be noticed, but he had no idea that he would get such overwhelming responses.
