There are days when we think that fathers know nothing about their kids, but it is actually a myth as the only drawback they have is that they don't know how to express their love in words and gestures. All thanks to the new-age 'papa bears', who are redefining fatherhood and setting an inspiration. Just like 'mama bears', our darling daddies anxiously wait for the baby to arrive and are ready to ace their duties. And a perfect example of it is Bollywood actor, Sumeet Vyas, who is soon going to enter the journey of fatherhood. Sumeet Vyas and his wife, Ekta Kaul gave a sweet surprise to their fans when they had announced that the 'Junior Kaul Vyas' is on the way. Yes, the duo had shared their pregnancy news on their respective Instagram handles. Ekta had shared a cute picture with Sumeet while flaunting her baby bump. Alongside it, she had written that she is proudly announcing her new project. Check it out below:
On April 25, 2020, the father-to-be, Sumeet took to his Instagram handle and shared a lovely monochrome picture with his wife, Ekta. In the picture, we can see Sumeet resting his face on Ekta's baby bump as she gives a happy smile to the camera. Alongside it, the actor wrote, "Ha ha ha aaja! #weneedtotalk." For those who don't know, Ekta couldn't believe that she is pregnant and so, she tested thrice to confirm it. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress had revealed her reaction and had shared, "I actually couldn’t believe it only. I tested myself thrice to confirm. And then I was ecstatic." Talking about Sumeet and how he is handling the pre-baby phase, he had shared how he is not able to pamper his wife due to the lockdown. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sumeet had bared his heart and had said, "There is no room for mood swings. There is no room for cravings, she can’t demand anything and I can’t get anything for her. It is not a nice feeling. Coming back to their love story, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, Sumeet had beautifully narrated his love story. He had shared, "I’d been single for sometime -- you know that phase where all your friends are like, ‘you’re single, doing well, don’t get into a relationship’? –well I tried, but I was over it pretty quickly. Around then, I met her... at shows and on TV sets, but frankly, I didn’t know how to pursue her! Then, she tweeted about my show and we started talking -- I invited her to my play and we went out after! We ended up talking for hours about acting. By the third time we met, I had a feeling she wasn’t getting it! So I felt the need to specify, ‘This is a date okay? I hope you know’ and she just nodded! She’s not from the acting community –she was discovered by chance, so for me it was like a breath of fresh air! I’ve been surrounded by serious artists all my life... this was so different! Even our choices didn’t match! The first movie we watched together was La la land- I came out of the theatre emotional and she was like eh! I thought oh no- how’s this going to work?"
