Sumati Singh Shares Her Ordeal Of Undergoing Two Nose Jobs, 'My Face Wasn't The Same Anymore'

In an interview, Sumati Singh finally addressed undergoing nose jobs twice after she met an accident in 2021. And she elaborated on how she braved the dark face of her life.

Sumati Singh Shares Her Ordeal Of Undergoing Two Nose Jobs, 'My Face Wasn't The Same Anymore'

Sumati Singh is one of the popular television actresses. She is known for her acting in hit TV serials, including Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop and Amma Ke Babu Ki Baby. The actress saw her fair share of ups and downs before landing major roles in daily soaps. She underwent two nose jobs. Recently, she opened up about the same.

Sumati Singh opens up on undergoing nose job twice

For the unversed, Sumati Singh met a fatal accident in 2021 and underwent two surgeries after her accident. And only after two surgeries, Sumati's nose was once again practically identical to how it was before the accident. Finally, after two years, she addressed the same in a conversation with ETimes. She said:

"I'm finally brave enough to discuss it. I decided not to talk about it because I was afraid I may lose my job."

Talking about the accident that happened in 2021, Sumati mentioned how she fell on her face. She revealed her face was completely distorted after hitting some concrete materials, and the left side of her nose was severely injured. Elaborating on the incident, she stated:

"I still don't know what exactly happened to me, but my legs got entangled in some concrete material, and I fell on my face. I hit the big slabs used for making roads and dividers. And the left side of my nose was totally broken, and the right side of the nose's bone was displaced, so I started bleeding, and my friend got panicked."

In the same conversation, Sumati revealed going through several surgeries. She mentioned that it was the darkest phase of her life, and her face wasn't the same at that time. She added:

"Every morning I would wake up, see my face, head to the bathroom, and cry for 10–15 minutes. My face wasn't the same anymore. It was swollen; it looked weird."

Sumati Singh was born and brought up in Munger, Bihar. Later, in 2016, she moved to Mumbai to pursue her dreams. Apart from working in many serials, in 2018, Sumati appeared in a web series, 13 Mussoorie, and also runs a beauty vlog on YouTube. Currently, she is working in a daily soap, Kismat Ki Lakiro Se, as 'Kirti'.
