The year 2026 has brought us yet another Telugu-language romantic drama film. Featuring Vamsi Tummala and Sandhya Vasishta in the lead roles, the film industry question is called Sri Chidambaram Garu. It was released in theatres just a few weeks back on February 6, 2026. Well, for those cinephiles who weren't able to catch Sri Chidambaram Garu in theatres, we have some good news. According to the latest reports, the movie is all set to make its digital debut. What is the plotline of Sri Chidambaram Garu? 

The film revolves around a young man named 'Solomon' who is played by Vamsi Tummala. We see him being burdened by guilt as he is living under a borrowed identity. Additionally, he continues to hide behind goggles as he is often mocked for his squint eye. Coming to the backdrop of the story, Sri Chidambaram Garu is set in the rural Godavari village.

Here, 'Solomon' will have to navigate many things like love, personal insecurity and social judgment. For instance, 'Solomon’ falls in love with a young woman. Well, she does not accept his proposal, and this naturally makes him wonder if she rejected him based on his looks. How he will win back her love by overcoming his insecurities and proving himself forms the crux of the story.   

When and where to watch Sri Chidambaram Garu on OTT?  

After the film was released early in February 2026, the makers announced that Sri Chidambaram Garu will soon be available for streaming on OTT. It is worth noting that they initially revealed that the film would make its digital debut on February 19, 2026. However, after running into some issues, it got postponed by a week. Well, fans only need to wait for 2 more days as it is all set to premiere on the platform ETV Win from February 26, 2026. Well, it was ETV Win who announced the updated date by making a social media post. The caption of the post can be read as: 

“New date. Same blockbuster magic. The film that touched millions is ready to shine again. Sri Chidambaram Garu premieres Feb 26 on @etvwin.”  

Cast and crew of Sri Chidambaram Garu  

The film, Sri Chidambaram Garu, features Vamsi Tummala and Sandhya Vasishta in the leading roles. Alongside the pair, in the supporting roles, you will find actors, Gopinath, Sivakumar Matta, Arun Kumar, Naidu Moram, Kalpalatha Garllapati, Tulasi, and Shankar Rao. According to reports, the movie has been produced by Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy and Chinta Vineesha Reddy, with Chinta Rajashekar Reddy serving as a co-producer.

Per Filmibeat, the cinematographer of Chidambaram Garu is Akshay Ram Podishetti, and the editor is Anwar Ali. The art director here is Vishnu Vardhan Pulla, and the music composer is Chandu Ravi. On the other hand, V. Swapnil Rao looked over the design and sync sound while Vishnu Sujathan completed the final sound for Chidambaram Garu. To mention, the official soundtrack of the movie has already been released under the label of Saregama India Limited.
