Sree Santh found his princess, Bhuvneshwari who turned his life into a 'happily ever after' when he was facing toughest time in his life and she had stood by him in the thick and thin of his life. The cricketer has been subjected to a lot of controversies after he was accused in the IPL 2013 spot-fixing scandal. However, Sree Santh had met Bhuvneshwari for the first time in Jaipur and it was love at first sight for him. Sree Santh had tied the knot with Bhuvneshwari on December 12, 2013.
Today, on December 12, 2019, Sree Santh and Bhuvneshwari are celebrating their six-years-of marriage. The ex-cricketer took to his Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures with his loving wife. Alongside it, he wrote, "@bhuvneshwari.sreesanth “love you always and forever “No matter how many years pass by in our marriage, there will be two moments when I will like to be with you – Now and Forever! Sree Santh's wife, Bhuveneshwari also shared a cute anniversary note for her husband, and wrote, "Sharing the good times, bearing the hard times, trusting in love to show us the way, laughing and living, trusting, forgiving, together forever side by side, day by day. Once in a media interaction with The Times of India, Sree Santh had shared how his wife, Bhuvneshwari has been a pillar of strength for him and his family. He had stated, "My wife has always been a support system to my family and me. Even before the controversy she was always in touch with my family. When I was injured and I was out of cricket for 18 months, she was constantly in touch with me. She used to mail me songs, modulations and stuff. So I should say, it was a very nice gesture by her towards me and my family."

He had further shared, "My mother decided that I should settle down in life and live life rather than dwell in the past. Mine was not a love marriage completely. It was a love which was arranged by both the families. We never proposed to each other. We never used to hold hands and walk around. I remember I held her hands for the first time during our wedding. It was only when her father gave her hand in my hand during some ritual before, that my love story was like a 1942 love story."
Usually, the first years in any couples life are the rosiest but for Sree Santh and Bhuvneshwari, their love story brewed in between difficulties of life. The star-wife had talked about the same in another interview with The Times of India. She had shared, "Our difficulties started even before we got married! The wedding was fixed for September 2013 and I had come down to Hyderabad in May, where Sree had a match, to meet him and discuss the wedding plans. I was still asleep when I suddenly started getting calls 7 am, asking me to switch on the TV. I thought it must be some rumour about the marriage, but what I saw the news of his arrest left me shattered. I couldn't believe it. I kept changing channels, but it was the same news all over.
