Lockdown Ki Love Story Fame, Sana Sayyad had said qubool hai to the man of her dreams, Imaad Shamsi on June 25, 2021. It was an intimate nikaah ceremony which was attended by the couple's relatives, family and close friends. Their love story had started eight years ago when the duo was college friends. Over the years, the friendship had turned into love, and now they are enjoying their happily ever after as Mr and Mrs.
However, in a recent media conversation, Sana opened up about people asking if her husband permitted her to work after marriage. For the unversed, it was almost two weeks after her wedding, on July 6, 2021, when Sana Sayyad had shared some pictures with her husband, Imaad Shamsi, from their varmaala moment on her IG handle. In the dreamy pictures, Sana and Imaad had looked beautiful in their cream-hued wedding ensembles. She had captioned the images as:
"I do, we do."

In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Sana Sayyad shared that it was not love at first sight with her hubby, Imaad Shamsi. Sharing about her nature, the actress said that she has never experienced love at sight in her life except for crushing over the superstar, Shah Rukh Khan like every other fan. She mentioned that initially, during her college days, she did not have feelings for Imaad, and it was the same for him as well. But it was only after coming into the same friend's circle that they fell head over heels in love. Sana can be quoted as saying:
"I'm not a love at first sight person, mujhe love at first sight kabhi hua hi nahi, except Shah Rukh Khan (laughs). We've been together since college. That time as well, I wasn't into him, nor was he. We then came in the same circle and that's how we connected again."
Sana Sayyad, who is currently seen in the series, Spy Bahu also reacted to the mean comments of people asking if her husband allowed her to work after the wedding. Even before they could complete their first marriage anniversary, the actress was pounded with questions like, 'How have things changed after marriage'. Calling such questions, 'chauvanist', Sana retorted:
"Everybody keeps asking me that. I don't like when people ask if your husband is comfortable with you working. That question is weird and is chauvinist. I'm not doing anything absurd for him to not like it. And he knew that I'm an actor. So I don't get it,"

Earlier, in a conversation with the Bombay Times, Sana was asked why she had chosen social media to make her relationship with her then-beau, Imaad Insta official. To which, Sana had replied that she had always manifested a life partner like Imaad, and when she had met the man of her dreams, she couldn't help but share the good news with all. She had said:
"I am very sure about my relationship with Imaad. I have manifested a partner like him for so long that finally, it has come through. Also, I am very transparent and I don't like to complicate things, so it's better we share it with all."
On the professional front, Sana Sayyad is seen in the series, Spy Bahu on colours TV.
