A while back, the Splitsvilla X6 fame took to his Instagram broadcast channel to hit back at trolls who criticised his age-gap romance with Delnaz Daruwala. According to reports, Delnaz is 24 years older than Sorab. Responding to people questioning their age difference, Sorab said that he finds Delnaz very beautiful. He said:
"Agar tum age gap ki baat kar rahe ho na bhai to mujhe bohot sundar lagti hai woh. Mujhe bohot hi hot lagti hai wo. Mere liye wo sundar bhi hai, mere liye wo hot bhi hai, mere liye wo sab hai bhai."
Sorab shared that he has never seen a girl more beautiful than Delnaz. He also pointed out that he isn’t the only man who likes women older than him. In fact, Sorab seems pretty confident about marrying Delnaz as well. He added that neither his parents nor his friends had a problem with him marrying an older woman. He said:
"Main use shaadi bhi kar lunga, biyah ke bhi le aaunga. Tumhe kya dikkat hai?"
Sorab seemed to have deleted the pictures hours after he shared some intimate photos with Delnaz. Now, in his Instagram broadcast channel, the Splitsvilla 16 star clarified that he hadn’t deleted the photos but had archived them because Delnaz was getting trolled online. Sorab shared that he does not care about what other people think about him. He said that he would post the picture again whenever he wanted to.

During his time on the show Splitsvilla X6, love blossomed between Niharika and Sorab. Fans lovingly called the duo 'Sorika'. The two reportedly began dating in early 2026. However, their romance was short-lived. On September 13, 2026, Niharika took to her Instagram Stories to announce her split from Sorab. She mentioned that they were no longer together. In the note, Niharika mentioned that there was nothing fake in their relationship.
She added that whatever they shared was real and she would always respect that. Further, in the note, Niharika explained that the breakup was required for her future, her growth, and most importantly, her peace of mind. She shared that she does not want to give any reasons and requested privacy.
