The ‘Queen of the North’, aka Sophie Turner gained immense popularity for her role as ‘Sansa Stark’ in the fantasy drama, Game Of Thrones. She debuted in the world of glamour in 2011 with the same television series. People quickly became a fan of the teenage Sophie because of her impeccable acting skills.
Game Of Thrones' last season aired in 2019. The same year the 'Queen of North' tied the knot with her then-beau, Joe Jonas. They welcomed their first daughter, Willa in 2020 and their second one, Delphine in 2022. However, things soured between the two and they mutually parted ways in September 2023.

It now may seem that the two, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are not on good terms following their divorce proceedings and custodial feud. But there was a time when Sophie and her friends really hated the Jonas Brothers. In an interview for Elle in 2020, the 27-year-old actress candidly revealed why she and her friends despised the American band, Jonas Brothers. She said:
"My friends and I were not Jonas Brothers fans. There was this band in the UK called Busted. They had a hit called 'Year 3000.' It was amazing, and we were huge Busted fans. Then the Jonas Brothers covered the song and made it massive. And Busted broke up. We thought it was all the Jonas Brothers' fault. So, we hated them."
Sophie Turner recalled working on a movie in 2016 with a producer who had previously lived next door to the Jonas Brothers. He told her to meet Joe Jonas as he thought they would really get along. She further mentioned that once she went for a meeting and found Joe's agent sitting in the same room. And he said to her ‘You remind me of one of my clients. I bet you two would really hit it off.’ Well, he hinted about a relationship between Joe and Sophie.
As fate would have it, Joe Jonas later DMed the Game of Thrones alum on social media, while the JoBros were touring in the UK. She met him, and they hit instantly. In the same interview, Sophie Turner said:
“With Joe, I always felt like I was the one who was punching, like, way above my league. And I still feel like that. He’s so handsome, talented, funny, charismatic. I’m really lucky to be with him and have someone like him want to be around me and spend time with me.”

Sophie Turner even reiterated that she loves being married and that her marriage had brought an immense sense of security to her life. She said:
“I feel like the only thing that’s changed for me is having this incredible sense of security. Just the word husband and the word wife—it just solidifies the relationship. I love being married. I think it’s wonderful. I’m sure we’ll have hiccups and our different things. But right now, it’s the security and the safety are everything."
But destiny had other plans, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ happy paradise shattered into pieces when the duo decided to part ways. Since their official announcement on September 6, 2023, the equation between the two deteriorated with each passing day. Days succeeding their divorce announcement was filled with reports of a feud between the duo due to the custody of their two kids. As of now, reports suggest that the custody battle has been resolved through mediation.
