Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor and his darling wife, Alia Bhatt are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time. For the unversed, the duo tied the knot in a Punjabi wedding on April 14, 2022, and on June 27, 2022, the actress delighted their fans with their 'good news'. Now on September 28, 2022, the soon-to-be-daddy turned a year older and undoubtedly wishes were pouring from all sides. However, it was his his saasu maa, Soni Razdan's wish for him which caught our attention.

Coming back to the soon-to-be-parents, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's pregnancy diaries, the much-in-love duo never miss a chance to swoon our hearts with mushy glimpses. For instance, on September 2, 2022, Alia and Ranbir along with their other team members, including Karan Johar, Nagarjuna, etc, were spotted at a promotional event in Hyderabad for their film, Brahmastra. For the day, the daddy-to-be looked dapper in an all-black attire whereas the mommy-to-be opted for a stunning rani pink-coloured suit. However, what caught our attention was Alia's outfit featuring a customised 'Baby on Board' embroidery on the back. On September 28, 2022, Ranbir Kapoor turned a year older, and it was his saasu maa, Soni Razdan's wish for him which spoke volumes about their adorable relationship. Taking to her IG handle, Soni shared three pictures from her daughter, Alia Bhatt's wedding with the love of her life, Ranbir Kapoor. In two of the pictures, the soon-to-be parents were seen lost in each other. While in one of the photos, the doting saasu maa was seen doing her damad's aarti, reportedly at the beginning of the wedding. Along with the pictures, Soni wrote a heartfelt note which can be read as:

"Happy Birthday adorable SIL love you to the moon and back ! May you keep dancing your way through life and never stop."

Earlier, a source close to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had opened up about the expensive wedding gifts given to the then-groom and the then-bride, in an interview with the Hindustan Times. The source mentioned that Soni Razdan had gifted her son-in-law, Ranbir a super-expensive watch which came with a price tag of Rs. 2.5 crores. He also mentioned the Kashmiri shawls as the return gifts for the guests which were picked by Alia herself. The source was quoted as saying:

"Alia's mother gifted her son-in-law with a high-end expensive watch, which is from a brand that’s not easily available. It costs almost Rs. 2.50 crore. And the guests present at the wedding received gifts in the form of Kashmiri shawls, specially picked by the bride. The material of these shawls was incredibly fine and everyone was in awe of it.”

On September 27, 2022, the parents-to-be, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted in the city as they had reportedly went for doing a recee of their new house. The couple was papped at their under-construction house in their comfy outfit, and were seen supervising the site. While the mommy-to-be donned a super comfy printed oversized shirt with black jeggings, Ranbir looked dapper in a white t-shirt and blue shorts. She simply radiated her pregnancy glow and tied her hair in a messy bun. Check it out below:
