For the unversed, the celeb parents have opted for a no-picture policy for their little one, nevertheless, they didn’t miss out on ringing in their baby’s first birthday with a cutesy party. Let us remind you that the party was attended by close friends and family members of the Bhatt-Kapoor families. And now, Alia Bhatt’s mom, Soni Razdan shared some unmissable anecdotes about the birthday girl, Raha, and revealed how she celebrated her special day.
In an interview with Filmibeat, Soni Razdan recalled her granddaughter, Raha Kapoor’s first birthday bash. The actress mentioned that her granddaughter looked lovely and bright on her birthday. Furthermore, the doting grandmom added that Raha was pretty chilled out and remained all balanced, even in a room full of people. In her words:
“Naturally, I understand and I am sure they would love to show her to the world, but I think she is a child and they are just little bit rightly concerned. She was such a well-balanced child. I can't imagine a room full of so many people talking all the time and she was pretty at ease, so I feel somewhere she is also a performer. So, I must say she was pretty chilled out. She enjoyed her own party because she had no clue what was happening.”

Back on November 6, 2023, Alia Bhatt had taken to her IG handle and dropped some unmissable pictures of her daughter, Raha to wish her on her birthday. Although the doting mom didn’t reveal her baby’s face, but in one of the pictures, Raha could be seen smashing her own birthday cake. Moreover, the next picture captured the hands of Ranbir, Alia and Raha, as they held flowers during a veneration kept on the latter’s birthday. The last glimpse featured a small clip, wherein Alia and Ranbir can be seen playing a melodious tone, La Vie En Rose, out of a small music box. Along with it, the doting mommy penned a special note, which read as:
“Our joy, our life.. our light! it feels like just yesterday we were playing this song for you while you were in my tummy kicking away..there’s nothing to say only that we’re blessed to have you in our lives.. you make everyday feel like a full creamy yummy delicious piece of cake..Happy birthday baby tiger .. we love you more than love itself."
Right a day after Raha’s first birthday celebration, the internet was filled with some special inside glimpses from the same. It was when Harsh Dixit, the head chef at The Private Chefs Club, dropped a snapshot of his team posing with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The loving parents were seen sharing a candid moment with them for Raha’s first birthday. Moreover, through the glimpse, we also caught hold of the special menu decided for the birthday bash, which included delicacies like ribbon sandwiches, chilli cheese toast and others.
