Once again, the veteran actress is in the headlines after she shared a rare picture with Alia, which was clicked seven years ago.
For the unversed, Mahesh Bhatt had converted to Islam in order to get married to Soni Razdan without giving divorce to his first wife, Lorraine Bright. Under the name of Ashraf Bhatt, the ace director had an intimate wedding with Sakina (Soni's Islamic name). The couple had welcomed their first daughter, Shaheen Bhatt, in 1988 and their second daughter, Alia Bhatt, in 1993.

On September 13, 2022, Soni Razdan took to her Instagram handle and shared an adorable picture with her daughter, Alia Bhatt. The picture was taken seven years ago when Alia had attended her mother's play, Where Did I Leave My Purdah. In the picture, the mother-daughter duo can be seen taking a cutesy selfie in the dressing room. While Soni Razdan looked gorgeous as always in a green-coloured printed top, her daughter, Alia stole the limelight with her cuteness in a black and white printed top. As soon as the picture went live on Instagram, Alia reacted to it with a hilarious comment as she wrote, "Why am I making this strange face." Along with this picture, Soni penned a note in which she revealed how time goes by very quickly. Her note can be read as:
"On this day 7 years ago … when you came and saw my play 'Where Did I Leave my Purdah', and we took this funny pic in my dressing room. I remember it like it was just perhaps a year or two ago…. how does time fly so fast?"
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Alia Bhatt is currently in the third trimester of her first pregnancy. The actress is actively working on the professional front and makes everyone go awe with her baby bump and pregnancy glow. However, it is reported that the two guarding angels in Alia's life, her mother, Soni Razdan and mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, are planning an all-girls baby shower. Although the ceremony will be intimate, it will be grand in nature for sure, as it's about the bahu of the Kapoor clan. If the report is to be believed, the guest list comprises Alia's close friends, Akanksha Ranjan, Anushka Ranjan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Navya Naveli Nanda, Aarti Shetty, and many more.

Although the promotions have stopped, but on her social media handles, Alia has been sharing unseen pictures and memorable moments from the sets of Brahmastra with her massive fanbase. For instance, on September 13, 2022, the actress had posted an unseen BTS picture with Ranbir.
