The Neerja actress is currently enjoying the most amazing phase of her life with the arrival of her baby boy, Vayu.
On September 20, 2022, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja's baby boy turned one month old, and to mark his special day, the doting parents shared the first-ever picture with him. The priceless photo showed the trio twinning in designer, Anamika Khanna's yellow-coloured outfits. Sharing the picture, Sonam also revealed her baby boy's name and shared that they have named him 'Vayu'.

On October 13, 2022, Sonam attended the Karwa Chauth celebrations, hosted by her mother, Sunita Kapoor. Sonam was captured, posing along with a guest and her gorgeous look captivated our hearts in no time. Dressed in a rani pink saree with a purple and green border, Sonam looked ethereal. She paired the saree with a contrasting green-coloured blouse and completed her look with heavy jhumas, kadha and a necklace.
After the birth of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, the doting parents sent unique baby announcement gift baskets to their friends. Sonam and Anand gave a beautiful painting and a bouquet to all their loved ones. Along with it, they also sent a card, which had a meaningful message written on it. An excerpt from the same could be read as:
"The bespoke artwork by artist Rithika Merchant was especially commissioned to mark the birth of Vayu and is one of just 500 prints of its kind. We hope it finds a place in your home, and Vayu a place in your heart."

As Sonam is enjoying motherhood, her fans are eager to know when she would resume her work. As per a close source, Sonam is thrilled to be a mommy and is currently focused on giving her full attention to her son, Vayu. Stating that Sonam is not taking any pressure about her work, the source had claimed:
“Motherhood brings a lot of change in you especially your outer body, while Sonam is not taking any pressure about her outer appearance at all. She is known to be the quintessential diva and never be worried about her looks. But as an actor Sonam definitely misses to be on camera and now after Vayu that is her second love and hence, she is planning for her comeback within a year.”
