Sonam Kapoor's Grand Baby Shower: Kareena Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Anil Kapoor And More Steal Spotlight

Much-loved Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor is all set to start a beautiful chapter in her life with her husband, Anand Ahuja. For the uninitiated, Sonam and Anand are all set to welcome their second child. Recently, the Neerja actress had her star-studded baby shower. According to a report by Indian Express, Sonam Kapoor’s baby shower was held today, on February 8, 2026. Reportedly, it was held at her house. It is worth mentioning that more details regarding the baby shower have been kept under wraps. However, video clips of celebrities leaving for the baby shower of the actress are going viral. Bollywood actors who attended the baby shower are Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Khushi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Shabana Azmi and more. 

The glamorous outfits of celebrities who attended Sonam Kapoor’s baby shower

According to video clips that are going viral on social media, Kareena Kapoor Khan opted for a traditional blue-and-white hued suit. She completed her look with statement jewellery and bindi. She also tied her hair into a bun. On the other hand, actress, Khushi Kapoor looked gorgeous in a yellow-hued saree. She kept her hair open and completed her look with a pearl choker and matching earrings.

Daldal actress, Bhumi Pednekar looked nothing less than an angel in white chikankari suit paired with a matching choker necklace and statement earrings. Similar to Kareena, she also tied her hair in a bun. Legendary actress, Shabana Azmi also attended Sonam Kapoor’s baby shower. 

For the same, Shabana Azmi opted for a yellow-hued suit with a multicoloured dupatta. She completed her look with a small pink bag. However, what grabbed attention was that Shabana tucked a flower in her hair. Actress, Maheep Kapoor also attended the function in a gorgeous pink chikankari kurti with her hair left open. Lastly, Neena Gupta's daughter, Masaba wore a white-and-golden kurti and skirt from her own label.

Apart from all the celebrities, Sonam Kapoor’s brother, Arjun Kapoor looked dashing as ever in a red kurta and white pyjamas. On the other hand, his sister, Anshula Kapoor wore a beautiful yellow suit with a purple-and-green dupatta. She paired her look with statement jewellery. Lastly, Sonam Kapoor’s father, Anil Kapoor stole the limelight with a colourful floral blue-hued kurta and off-white pyjamas. He looked dashing in black shades.

Sonam Kapoor is all set to welcome her second child with her husband, Anand Ahuja. For those who do not know, Sonam and Anand tied the knot in May 2018 after dating for several years. It is worth mentioning that their marriage was one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings. In 2022, Sonam and Anand embraced parenthood with the birth of their son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. In November 2025, the Bollywood actress announced her second pregnancy with a stylish photoshoot. 

After her first pregnancy, Sonam Kapoor was very open about the changes and difficulties she faced. In an old interview, Sonam stated that she got pregnant at the age of 36, because of which she gained more than 15 kilos in the first three months. Sonam Kapoor once shared:

"I was 36 when I got pregnant, and I had to take a lot of progesterone. In the first three months of pregnancy, I put on 15 kilos. And after that, it was not ending; I returned to my heaviest ever. Which was still okay while I was pregnant, but when the baby comes out, you think that you’re going to go back to your old body. That doesn’t happen. It’s taken me a year-and-a-half to lose the weight."
