Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja are one of the perfect Tinseltown couples. The 'everyday phenomenal couple' never fails to give us goals and inspiration on how to keep the love alive. On May 8, 2020, the duo had completed two-years of marital bliss, and Anand being a doting husband had given his wife a wonderful pre-anniversary surprise. The actress had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared an Instagram story of Anand's gift which was a Nintendo Switch with her favourite games on it, including Legend of Zelda and Mario Kart.
On May 11, 2020, Sonam took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures with Anand and her quarantine diaries from Delhi. In the first set of pictures, we spotted Sonam and Anand in their bedroom as the two were busy reading a book. Sonam donned a striped nightsuit while Anand wore an all-white ensemble. Sonam and Anand are enjoying their quarantine as earlier, the duo was in a long-distance marriage due to their work commitments. In a throwback interview with the Elle India, Anand had revealed about the same and had shared, “Long-distance can get tiring, but we're lucky that Delhi, London and Mumbai are all home, for work. It could be worse, but it obviously could be better. It's hard to not be together, especially after you get around to being married and you want to have that time. But Sonam's got a hectic schedule this year — she's got four films coming up. But we make it work. In an interview with the Vogue magazine, Anand had spilled the beans on how they became friends. He had said, "The first time we met, we talked about our respective work. I was just struck by the fact that I could speak to her so openly about everything. We were chatting on Snapchat one night and she said, ‘Stop texting, just call me.’ And we spoke for two hours that night. Our friendship started over superficial things like vegan chocolates and sneakers but soon we were having deeper conversations."
