In a recently conducted ‘Ask me anything’ session on Instagram, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja spilled the beans on her beauty, makeup secrets and her healthcare regime. Sonam shared that she uses a lots of products on her face and really takes good care of her skin. To ensure a smooth skin, Sonam shared that she does this, “Exfoliation, sunblock and moisturisation are key to good skin”. Hence she uses, undereye creams, cleansers and masks for the same.
Do you know, it all depends upon you, how your skin will look like when you wake up the next morning based upon your previous night? Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, too, has a process that she follows for the same, “When I go to sleep, I remove my makeup, moisturise again and drink a lot of water.” The actress further revealed that she has fine lines and hyperpigmentation which she conceals with makeup. She further added, “Baking really helps my concealer settle ... correct concealer, corrector and beauty powder is all you need.” What are her makeup secrets? Sonam revealed, “Great foundation, the correct concealer and kajal are important. I also love blush and mascara. In a 2018 chat with Anaita Shroff Adajania, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had revealed that she had PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) when she was a teen and also revealed the repercussions of the same. She had stated, “I gained around 35 kg in a span of 5-6 months. Hair started growing in all the weird places and I had acne too. During that time, I just didn’t feel good about myself." And you know what? Sonam had broken up with her then boyfriend because he had a problem with the way she looked! Yes, the starlet had shared, “My mother was a lot into health and fitness and she was really worried about me. So I finally decided to lose weight the healthy way, for myself. I want all the girls to know that beneath the make-up I am just like them. It takes a lot of effort to look the way I do and that’s not real.”

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had spoken about people’s concern for health and fitness these days and had shared, “I think it is great that health and fitness is top of mind for everyone across age groups, be it the young or old. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had further added, “What a lot of people don’t know is that losing weight or getting fitter doesn’t necessarily require a lot of investment and struggle. You can take the first step towards health and wellness with something as simple as walking.
