Sonam Bajwa Recalls Being Blamed For Breaking A Woman's Engagement, Says, 'Because Of Me...'

One such story was shared by actress, Sonam Bajwa during her recent appearance on the Amazon MX Player series, Famously Fit with Sophie. The show hosted by Sophie Choudry started with laughter and some insight into the actress's life. Nonetheless, during one segment, she recalled an unexpected encounter that left her both surprised and speechless.

The conversation came up during her appearance on the Amazon MX Player series, Famously Fit with Sophie, where guests often open up about personal experiences beyond films and fitness. Recalling the incident, Sonam Bajwa spoke about meeting a woman who directly linked her to a major turning point in her life. The actress revealed that the woman approached her, confirmed her identity, and then disclosed something that left her shocked. She was quoted as saying:

"There was this girl who walked towards me and she asked, 'Are you Sonam Bajwa?' I said yes, and she said, 'I have to tell you something.' She goes that because of me, her engagement broke. I said, 'I don't know if I should say I am so sorry to hear that,' but I was so stunned! Then she goes, 'But I am very happy now and I am engaged to somebody else.'"

However, the confession didn't add there. Sonam Bjawa revealed that she was the one who called off the engagement because her then-fiancé was obsessed with the actress. She revealed that the man wanted the woman to look like Soman and have the same body as her. She was quoted as saying:

"So she said, 'I am super happy. I called off the engagement with that guy because he was obsessed with you and he wanted me to look like you. He wanted me to have a body like you. It was just a lot for me so I called off that engagement. But ab main jinke saath hoon woh mujhse bohot pyaar karte hain."
