Salman Khan is a big brand in Bollywood. Over the years, he has created a niche for himself and etched a special place in everyone's hearts. However, apart from being a stellar actor, Salman Khan has hit the headlines numerous times for his relationships and their consequences. His name was entangled with Aishwarya Rai, Somy Ali, Katrina Kaif and now Iulia Vantur.
Now, Somy Ali has opened up about the sexual abuses she has faced while she was in a relationship with a Bollywood actor. Though she never revealed much about her past, the former actress had once revealed why her relationship with Salman Khan didn't work out.

A few hours ago, Somy Ali took to her Instagram handle and shared a silhouette picture from a movie, Maine Pyar Kiya song, Aate Jaate Haste Gaate, starring Salman Khan and Bhagyashree. Sharing the photo, she penned a note, dedicating it to the 'Weinstein of Bollywood' and warned him that his truth would be exposed and the women whom he had harassed would speak up. She even tagged Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in her caption, she wrote:
"The Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood! You will be exposed. The women you abused will come out one day and share their truth. Just like @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb."
For the unversed, as per Somy Ali, she and Salman Khan had dated for eight years, from 1991 to 1999. In an interview with the Free Press Journal, Somy had opened up about her relationship with Salman Khan and had also stated that she had left for the US after their breakup. She had said:
"I learned a lot from his parents and household. I also learned from Salman. Ultimately, in any relationship, if you are not happy, it's better to part ways. That was the case of the relationship between Salman and me. I decided to go back to America."

In the same interview, Somy Ali had recalled how they got into a relationship. Apparently, she was 16 years old and had fallen head over heels for the actor after watching his film, Maine Pyar Kiya. When she had expressed her love to him, he had told her that he was already in a relationship. But a year later, they had started dating. Somy Ali had said:
"We used to watch Hindi films. I saw Maine Pyaar Kiya, and I had developed a crush on Salman. I had a dream that night, and I decided to go to India. When I was 16, it was ridiculous for me to think that I could go to Mumbai and marry him. I dreamt of marriage and thought it was a prediction from God. I started looking for a suitcase. I told mom that I'm going to Mumbai to get married to Salman Khan!"
Somy Ali had even shot a film with Salman Khan that never got released. But during that time, she had expressed her love for him and it didn't take much convincing for him to love her back. In her words:
"We were heading to Nepal. I was sitting next to him. I just removed his photo showing it to him. I told him, 'I have come all the way to marry you!' He said, 'I have a girlfriend.' I said that doesn't matter. I was a teenager. Our relationship started after a year when I turned 17. He did tell me first, 'I love you.' It didn't take a lot of convincing."
